where good style begins. i have bought 2 pairs of shoes here and the staff has been very friendly to me both times. they offer fantastic style and selection---a must!

Retro yet space-age kicks with enough height, style and sole to absorb the shock of NYC streets.. The Scene
While Docs had their day in the sun (or, the darkness of Webster Hall), the more edgy, unusual and lesser-known Fluevogs never go out of style. The store motto is "Stay Outta Hell," a reference to the Angels line. Turn 'em over: Angels are punched out of the sole, alongside a heavenly promise: "Resists alkalai, water, acid, fatigue, Satan. Walk in Peace."

The Goods
For the ladies, bad-girl Mary Janes, tall boots with check-me-out heels, kooky sandals with '70s flair and tried-and-true lace-ups that go with everything. For the guys, funky wingtips, antiqued-finish square-toe oxfords, pimpy club clunkers, leisure-lounge shoes and taller boots--some with the old-school pull-on tag.
