In Short – A pleasant, pampering experience it's not. No one's going to bring you a cup of tea and tell you how pretty your feet are. Prepare for eardrum-shattering music and a distracted staff. Find ever-hip Prada and Miu Miu displayed prominently at the front, then work your way toward the back of the store for the best knock-offs around, at about half the cost. You're still paying quite a bit for the non-biggies (around $150 and up), but you're getting the trends for the season.
Wait for blow-out sale...
by lala_c at Citysearch
The selection is wide and varied, though does carry knock-off next to Pradas. The sales help runs hot/cold. They are either on your behind the whole time or could not be bothered. I asked for a pair once only to be told they didn't have it in my size. Wander to othe side of store to find another salesperson giving the exact shoes in my size to a girl!
I don't know if the other reviewer has been under a rock, but a "shopper" knows OTP and their various locations. I also know that the in-between sales are not worth the time. Wait for the end of season blow out. My biggest score was 3 pairs of shoes, plus boots for $170!
- Pros: selection, end-season sales
- Cons: inattentive help, incl. knock-offs
....Strutn' in my Prada sneaks
by Luminicity at Citysearch
Well - the sales people couldn't be bothered to help you for more than 1 min or two. They carry many brands that may be hard to find, even here in NYC. The sales they offer allow me to strut around in Prada sneaks. They usually have a sale at the end of a season, but during the weeks after prices continue to drop and drop and drop - Which is great, if you can find your size. There are several stores within the city - but they won't call another store for you to seee if your size is in stock. My advice - go, but be aware that this ordeal will require patients.
