The Scene
Satellite is situated in a huge, fancily appointed space on the Bowery, and the records fill pretty close to every inch of it. The store stocks most every genre--techno, drum and bass, trance (psy- and progressive), house (hard, deep, progressive, vocal, tribal, etc.) and garage. It's not the first place to go if you don't know these aesthetic distinctions, but if you do--or if you want to learn--Satellite's a good place to get lost in.
The Goods
The front room houses a big case full of DJ bags, record needles, magazines and a fairly sizeable selection of dance CDs. Hanging on the walls are some nifty-looking CD listening stations, too. The back room is where things get crazy. Filled with vinyl from floor to ceiling, it's a little daunting if you don't know what you're doing. But feel free to grab some white-labels and give 'em a spin on the house turntables.

Worst experience. Ordered T shirts last year from Top DJ and I am still awaiting them. My issue is how come theyre still in business if there are soo many complaints about them. I will be reporting them to the police also

These people did not deliver goods that were paid for in 2006 for $4000.00. It seems that they have a history of not delivering. We are currently reporting them to the police, which I recommend to anyone else. This might stop them. Wilma

I had a similar situation, what action are you taking at this point? I'm at theclutchyclutch@gmail and let me know how you're handling it, because they've had my vestax pmc for over a year now after I paid for the repairs and at this point I just want my mixer back and this place doesn't even exist anymore. Let me know where you're at, thanks!
