In Short
Finding anyone over the age of 22 at this local dive is quite a challenge. The Peculiar Pub is always crawling with youthful vitality that, in this circumstance, translates into rowdy binge drinking. Young worshippers of the bottle cram into wooden booths of clerical origins, on which they carve their crushes' names and their four-lettered words of wisdom. Is this sacrilege? Well, at least they show good faith in the 500 bottled beers and 17 drafts available.

The bar itself isn't all that exciting but the selection of beers here is incredible. If you're out and about in Manhattan and looking for somewhere to try a new beer or something you'd never find anywhere else, this is the place for you!

Good selection of beer, great location, no pretentious bouncer. The lighting is awesome, they have great big cozy wooden booths to sit in with your friends. Its a nice warm atmosphere to spend with your friends on those cold winter nights. It adds on to Bleecker Streets charm. A nice young crowd is found throughout the bar. I left this place feeling fantastic and it wasn't just because of the booze!
