college town bar in the big city. It's cheap, smelly, and packed with youngins. In other words, its a college bar. Definitely not for someone looking to have a classy time or meet anyone classy, but great if you want to have a night that's easier on the funds and you're not picky about the company you keep. Coming here is kind of like doing shots with strange men; you know it can only lead to trouble, but that doesn't stop you. In fact that's exactly what its like. If you're looking for a place where you can have a great time and no one will judge you for the numerous mistakes you will make that night, you've found the right place.
One thing albany is missing.. This is the one bar that Albany University is missing. The prices are clearly for college students because they are rediculously affordable with yummy snacks to munch on also.
My favorite bar. After a long week of studying there is no better place to go. The drinks are cheap; they have specials nearly every day of the week, and their wings are INSANE. During the world cup this year me and a bunch of my friends went and got absolutly trashed and ate non-stop; we must have spent tops 20$ each . . for a lot of beer and food, love this place.
Bouncers Broke My Front Teeth. I was there on 8/29/10 and a bouncer grabbed me and started choking me for missing a urinal so I bit him and then after 5 bouncers surrounded me and dragged me outside they put me on the cement and broke my front teeth and had me arrested for assault. I recommend not ever going to this bar. This is a true story! If you'd like to come to my court date and show support agaist over zealous ex-cop bouncers and corrupted police offices Please E-mail me at buysell201@yahoo
Get in even if you're not 21. Me and a group of my girlfriends all went to Off the Wagon last weekend, none of us are 21, it wasn't an issue. The drinks are so cheap!! Only thing is it's filled with ugly dudes, but just get drunk and go somewhere else!
awesomeness. this bar is the bomb diggity dont let these losers steer you away and the wings are awesome
Best place to watch the games.... All right, first off if you dont notice by walking up to the place that its a bar geared towards an insane amount of drinking then maybe youre the idiot. Go somewhere else! The name of the game here is get as drunk as possible and watch sports..SIMPLE! I've been coming here for at least 10 years and it has always been great. Football is the best here. Be ready to see legions of Giants fans and Jets fans but dont be surprised when you see other teams being supported too, Eagles, Dolphins, Steelers, and yes even my team the Broncos.

Doorman on a Power Trip. I've always hated this bar, but when my best friend comes to town he forces me to come bc the women are fish in a barrel. Unfortunately, the staff really do think they are members of Barack Obama's security team, which makes being here "not fun." When I get here with my group of five people, including my gf, they split us up, allowing three of us to enter, and forcing my gf and I to stand outside in the cold. We stood outside for 15 minutes, waiting to get into this overcrowded, way noisy, bar full of 18 year old NYU ugly chicks with fake ID's. This bar has always sucked, but in recent years it has gotten worse (it seems to be intentionally geared to favor a socially inept crowd with its rude doormen and bartenders). Since the crowds are very large, there are myriad bouncers walking about with chips on their shoulders, just being generally mean and pushy with patrons. Even before you actually step foot in the bar--at the door--they try their hardest to put you in a bad mood. When I asked the doorman nicely if he could let me through with my gf so that we did not lose my out-of-town friends in a sea of people inside, he told me "I'm cutting it off here...If you don't like it you can go somewhere else." There was no reason why this guy could not let me stay with my party of friends. He did it simply bc he could. Even when I told him that I am a semi acquaintance with the owner(MB), he told me that he was going to make me stand in the cold longer for opening up my mouth. Then he told me to go ahead and call MB (his boss) and tell him that Alex (that was the doorman's name) is the "A-hole who made you stand in the cold with your girlfriend." The point here, really, is that I am sick of bouncers in NYC acting like NYC cops, or secret service members. And for the record, positive reviews written for this bar are obviously written by employees. Next time, I'm spitting down from the upper deck.
DO NOT COME TO THIS BAR!. DO NOT COME TO THIS BAR! I put my card down to pay for drinks and when I went to close it out they told me that I had already signed and paid for the bill. I told them I did not have my card and never signed anything and the response was check your pockets. After informing them that I was not an idiot, didn?t have my card, and never signed anything, they caught on to the fact that they couldn?t take advantage of a drunk person and proceeded to kick me out. I cancelled my card that night, and my credit card company calls me Monday to report that there had been attempts to use it. These guys stole it and tried to convince me that I was crazy! The owners and bartenders are complete low-lifes, if you must come to this wretched bar be sure to pay in cash only.
