No reason to go back..

I gave this place two stars due to location (it was right next to GirlProps and we were too famished to search for anything else), they introduced me to Orzata and Steamed Milk (YUMMMO), and the croissant wasn't disappointing....
I took away 3 stars because the prices were ridiculous and the bathroom was DISGUSTING!
- Pros: Location
- Cons: Prices, Disgusting Bathroom
A PLACE FOR PICKPOCKETS AND BAG THIEVES
by james1062
This coffee shop sells over priced food to tourists who unknowingly sit among pickpockets and bag thieves.
This is now a common occurrence everywhere in every coffee shop. bar, restaurant and unfortunately, even the movie theater.
Unfortunately if this happens to you in this coffee shop the owner will not call the police which is what any decent person would do. Instead he'll tell you to walk around the block to see if you can find the people who were sitting next to you.
BOYCOTT THIS PLACE and head over to Sullivan St.
to Once Upon A Tart. A great spot for breakfast or lunch.
WATCH YOUR BAGS AND WALLETS PEOPLE!!!!!!!!
- Pros: OK FOOD
- Cons: YOU HAVE TO WATCH YOUR BAG LIKE A HAWK HERE.
If you are a tourist, don?t waste your time and $, and if you are a New Yorker, trust your judgment and walk away.

I wouldn?t normally walk into place like this (an obvious tourist trap), but an out-of-town friend was staying at a nearby hotel, and due to time constraints (and despite my better judgment) we ended up here for a brunch. Frankly, I did not have any expectations, but I never expected all my five senses to be bombarded by sheer disgust.
Sight: Our waitress wore her pant so low, she was showing off the unmentionable? (I kid you not);
Smell: Any Starbucks toilets would surpass Borgia?s toilet cleanliness standard;
Taste: Better food is served at the Kellogg's Diner in W'burg at 3am;
Sound: Infectious staff? some of the waitstaff were sniffing and coughing up lungs; and
Touch: Couldn?t touch the plate after a few bite.
If I could do it all over again, I would go back to the Cupping Room cafe no matter how long the wait may be?
- Pros: none
- Cons: see above

Just got sent out of an empty coffeeshop because my friend first ordered the coffee to go, then decided to sit down for a few minutes. The rudest waitress in the world informed us that "the rules" say we had to leave because they charge different prices for the coffee to go and the coffee to stay. When we said we'd just be a few minutes and that there was noone else sitting down in the entire place, she was rude one more time.
I would recommend having your coffee in a friendlier place. To the management I would recommend training Katie do provide customer service and not police services.
- Cons: horrible customer service
