Killer Bloody Mary. Sophisticated and tasteful. Atmosphere is dark and pleasant, service is wonderful, food was decent (just ate a few things at the bar -- the popcorn in bowls is great but watch the salt!), and they made the most incredible Bloody Mary - ever.

The Perfect Date Spot!. The atmosphere, lighting, drinks, food, and staff all create the perfect spot for any date. Open even on Sundays, Temple Bar has enough ambience and class to enhance any type of evening: whether it's a night on the town with friends or a blind date. I ordered one of their apple martinis, and devoured it since it was made just right--and I don't normally drink martinis! However, my date ordered their signature "Sidecar" drink and, after tasting it, it was just too strong! He could not even finish it. This place is a must, and I certainly plan to return.

Great little Room and a perfect Martini.. As for prices you don't come to joint like this to save money. And as for not fitting in with the neighborhood, well... that's one of the things that makes this place so special. It's an unexpected treat in its location. But, if your looking for a very special place to have a rendezvouz with that special someone it can't be beat. It should really be called the assignation bar. The majority of men here are probably with their girlfriends. Or... you can simply go for a great little room and a perfect Martini.

A vodka lover's haven. If you like strong, large vodka cocktails, then Temple Bar is for you. Be sure to bring your wallet. The service is prompt. Had an experience with a very impatient waitress once. But it won't ruin my view of my overall appreciation for this bar. Definitely on the romantic side.

Seductive and sexy. Take someone here and they'll know you're looking for more than just pleasant conversation and friendship.

Calamari and Cosmos. Cosmopolitans, popcorn, and squid. A winning combination for a evening of romance in the hushed and darkened confines of the Temple Bar. The velvet drapes and black-suited bar staff set the ambiance, but its that salt n pepper calamari that really gets my vote. Coupled with the seemingly never-ending supply of salty popcorn, it can make for a thirsty evening but the winning martinis and (occasionally excessively limey) cosmos easily overcome that problem.

Dark and Sexy. Had drinks here after dinner. The place is dark and sexy with a lounge vibe. Drinks are rather steep ($14 for a scotch, $11 for a martini). Overall a nice place to relax and snuggle close with your lover.

OVERPRICED!. THE DRINKS ARE OK BUT THE WAITRESSES HAVE ATTITUDE AND IT'S TOTALLY OVERPRICED FOR THE AREA. I'D RATHER GO TO A POSH HOTEL BAR WITH A VIEW THAN SIT IN DARKNESS ACTING IMPORTANT, EATING REALLY STALE/DRY POPCORN AND SPENDING A FORTUNE ON A FEW ROUNDS OF DRINKS!

Okay. I went there with my boyfriend and did not think much of it. The bottle of wine we ordered was not impressive, even though we paid a decent amount for it. The waitress was nice. She kept a close eye on us all night, filling up our glasses when they were empty. The music was also really nice; not too loud, but loud enough to support the atmosphere. Overall, it was okay.
