Ethereal sophistication and simple architecture give these clothes an artistic flair.. The Scene
In such a luxuriously spacious showroom as this, it comes as a shock to be given no breathing room by the salespeople. If left alone, you'll dreamily gaze at the gorgeous, flowing garments. These clothes definitely capture a girl's romantic imagination.

The Goods
Smart brides-to-be go to Morgane Le Fay (named after the half-sister of King Arthur) to find elegant and delicate floor-length dresses that easily double as wedding gowns--and for under $1,000. These pieces bring to mind the girly romance of Audrey Hepburn or even Princess Leia, but the modern designs allow for greater variety in waist sizes. The outerwear is also unique, with subtle or invisible closures that give each jacket an extreme simplicity.

Salespeople's Ugliness Ruins the Clothes. I used to shop at the Soho location. One day the salesperson I usually used wasn't there; I asked to try on a particular dress and the sales woman told me that she owned the dress and that it wouldn't fit me. I bought two suits that day-I asked about the dress again, only to have the sales woman pretend to forget it. I did however recieve a concilliaoty candle--a pittance next to her commission. Incidently, I wandered in the Madison Avenue store where I actually bought the dress that wasn't supposed to fit (and luckily it was onsale at the time of my visit). These days I take my business elsewhere, I like to be treated respectfully whether I choose to wear Birkenstocks or Blahniks.--The clothes are beautiful but the attitude is unbearable.
