SePhOrA CoSmEtIcS. Sephora is much better than Macy's, because of the wide makeup selection of more fragrances and makeup brands. On the downside they discontinued the hard Candy lipglosses and nail polishes in late 2007 unfortunatley. I like the Bobbii Brown has the nice natural look, similar to MAC, but not as bold and a less wide variety of selection. They have great nail polishes here too, any brand and company. They have like every expensive brand here exceppt for MAC. Surprislngly make-up artists and celebrities even shop here for the brushes and makeup for on-and-off set, mostly that would be Bobbi Brown, Bare Escentuals, Urban Decay, and Makeup Forever (Professional Yup) Now Tey have great gift packaging for gifts. Clinique (hypoallergenic makeup) and Lancome (just almost as expensive as Chanel) rock. Very pricey though (everything) Benefvit is good too, and the silver retractable Dior eyeliner is great. If you want a city look the Nars stuff rocks too, the liquid eyeliner the black one with the black cap, and the pink lipgloss in the pot. Very classy. High shine and very unique. The quality and quantity of cosmetics and perfumes is awesome and that's why I gave this review five stars. I have a collection of different makeup from Sephora................. Runway models, models, soap stars, movie stars come here and wear this stuff. If you put the makeup on right it looks professional. The look makes me airbrushed like in the magazine. I have some silver and black brushes the set. My favorites are the Clinique lipsticks the silver ones with the slanted top the wine, maroon, plum, and burgundy colors, the dark pink lipgloss pot from Nars which looks so manhattany, the peachy black slanted top lipgloss (square) from Bobbi Brown) it givs me the natural look (this is in detail) The Urban Decay dark pink lip junkie and the Lancome Juicy Tubes and their lipglosses in coloe Fever Burgundy and the new ones out with the silver cap and the flower on it in a wine color called dynamic and a few darker colors that lasts for 8+ hours.

Can't Put A Price On Quality. The best way to define Sephora in comparison to the other leading brands in the industry is this; Sephora consists of high caliber beauty products with the everyday woman in mind. In comparison to the vibe that I get from some of the other leading brands is when I walk into a store no matter how busy it appears to be an associate always makes themselves available to assist you. Very few places still have associates that are so personable and literally walk you over to the product. I went there the other day to pick up some concealer and a specialist sat with me for 30 minutes trying to place the perfect match for the shades they offer and my complexion. welcoming and fun. great place to shop whether you're looking for something specific or just browsing. I walked in pretty much unsure of what I wanted and I walked out with three bags! lol. I love it but I'm not going back anytime soon. Pricey!

Good place to find a gift for a woman. I went here trying to find a gift for my wife and the staff was very helpful, helping me to pick out something very nice for her. The store was very clean, bright and well organized, with plenty of great things to choose from. The only thing is it was very crowded, but that is to be expected when you have a great store in a great location. Highly recommended for guys who need help picking out something nice for a lady!

Ralph Lauren, Christian Dior and Shiseido are alongside harder-to-find brands like BeneFit, Interface and Nars. Everything is available for sampling and salespeople are eager to help clients dabble with new products. You're not here to bargain hunt, though. Expect to pay top dollar.

Good mood factory. this one of the biggest Sephoras. But one of the most crowded too. The selection is about the same with the other locations and you can walk around those shelves filled with women's most favourite little things. The only problem is that there are too many people around you and a stream of people is going to catch you as soon as you go to the street.

A grown woman's playground. I like to go into Sephora when I have the time to browse around (when I'm without the boyfriend) and take my time playing ith all the different types and brands of make-up. If I don't have the time to enjoy myself in this store, I only run in and out when I know what I want to buy. It's a great one stop shop since they carry most lines and usually have all colors in stock. It's true the salespeople aren't always friendly, helpful or informative but I can some customers aren't actually angels either. If you're looking for some real and attentive help, you're better off going to a department store, but they'll probably also put sales pressure on you, something you can probably avoid in Sephora.

SEPHORA IS NOT THE BEST. WELL I WENT TO THE SEPHORA ON 34TH ST AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS. I HAD TO RUN AROUND THE WHOLE STORE TO TRY TO LOCATE A SALESPERSON AND WHEN I FINALLY DID THEY DIDN'T ACT FRIENDLY OR VERY HELPFUL. I DO HAVE TO COMMEND THEM ON THEIR VARIETY OF PRODUCTS.

Giant Cosmetic Candy Store. It is a bit overwhelming to say the least and definately an easy place to go broke. this said, if you enjoy quality makeup, perfume, or hair care products- it is a must see. i recommend the web site too. although equally as overwhelming
