Amazing Cut and Color. I love this salon! After getting many bad haircuts I was finally recommended by a friend with an excellent new haircut to see Mary. She is so friendly and always give me a fantastic cut that I get lots of compliments on. I recently got my hair colored for the first time and although I was a bit nervous, she immediately put me at ease and explained what she was planning on doing. Sure enough, the color came out really well and the final result looked very natural.

Stylish, professional, and a coloring genius, Melanie always gets it right. Even when I come in with a crazy idea (currently bangs), she makes it work for me.
I've even had strangers stop me on the street to compliment my hair!

Melinda is the extension pro!. I have been getting extensions put in my hair for the past 4 years. Seeing Melinda for the past year and a half I realized no one does extensions like she does..she is truly amazing! She is reasonable priced and her work is worth top dollar. I would recommend her to anyone thinking of getting extensions. Also the bonus of the micro-link extensions is that you can get them "moved up" they last longer than other types and they do not damage the hair.

Alison is very highly recommended. I have lived in NYC for 4 years, and never managed to find a stylist that cut my hair as I liked (very fussy!). Then I met Alison - she listens and has great advice. I have been to her twice and both times the cut was gorgeous. I would recommend her very highly to any friends.

Allison is AWESOME. I have been going to Allison for years, and, when necessary, have even been willing to travel an hour just to have her cut my hair. She listens to what you want, takes your hair texture and quality into consideration, and gives you a killer haircut that is modern and fun and easy to style. She is also a talented colorist, and completely fixed my problem, brassy blonde in one visit. I have tried other hair dressers, only to be sorely disappointed. She is clearly gifted in the art of hair, and very personable to boot. It is a pleasure to sit in her chair and I am so happy that she is now at Dop Dop, a wonderful salon in Soho that is also very close and convenient to where I live. I cannot say enough good things about her. If you want a great haircut, Allison is the way to go. After one visit you will see a difference in your hair and will be totally hooked.

Cesar is THE best!.
Omigoodness!
Let me just say that Cesar is AMAZING! I have been getting my hair done (cut and color) by Cesar for the past 3 years and never without fail he does a great job! He is the biggest perfectionist I've ever met, and is never anything but professional! In fact, I know that when Cesar is not working in Dop Dop, is a celebrity stylist working in fashion shows and commercials, and for music artists! So if you want to get your hair done by a truly professional stylist you are choosing the best of the best with Cesar.

Stay away. Stay away from Caesar!! He's canceled on me several times and typically the day of or before the appointment with no apology at all. There are plenty of great stylist in the city who are better than him who will keep to their scheduled appointment times.
