Worst place ever!. This restaurant is the WORST place ever. 45 minutes to wait for pizzas and pasta, even not good. The worst was the service, the waitress was arrogant and very rude. We went there because we didn't make reservation to Locanda Verde and couldn't get a table. Such a disappointment, don't go there!....
Awesome Birthday... Just had the most awesome birthday dinner here. Service was great, and even though it was crowded, we were not rushed through the meal like some places do. Tthe appetizers (chicken fingers, calamari and garlic bread) were totally yummy. And my main course -- grilled hanger steak -- was delicious.
Love this place!!!!. We went to Ivy's Bistro for my boyfriends birthday. I had called to ask if they could make a carrot cake (his favorite) and they said yes without hesitation. Turns out the chef had never made one before and he went and searched for a recipe and made it all completely from scratch. It was phenomenal!! We all loved it. Plus our waitress could not have been nicer and the food was incredible! The place is so cute, too. We are going to be going her more often. So glad we found this little gem!
Ivy's Bistro Great Place to go~~. my fds host the birthday dinner for me and my sis.. I love Ivy's Bistro really much!! The owner Mike is a really great person. The waitress are really friendly and nice. The food are good! My love is Eggplant Rollatini and Chicken Marsala.. all of us enjoy the food, the place. . I definitely will go again!! Highly recommonded !!
excellent food and service. Ivy's is a great place for any special occassion or just a casual dinner out. I have been there several times and always have a great experience. The owner usually comes by and says hello and the food is exceptional. It is a great place to go in the summer, great outdoor seating and 1 block from the river. I am so happy there is a restaurant like this in the neighborhood.
Great Valentines spot.
The ambience was perfect for my date and I and the meal did not disappoint either. We started out with the BEST Bruschetta I have ever had ( I'm Italian by the way ). She had a delicious Lobster ravioli special. I had a superb Shell steak au poivre.
Wonderful non expensive cozy spot in the heart of expensive Tribeca
Ivy's Bistro. My husband, his parents, our 2 children and I enjoyed the food at Ivy's and our server, a French lady, was great and entertained our children. They love her and we will definitely come back on Saturday nights! Sitting outside allowed the kids to be more comfortable. Thank you Ivy!
Good Food, Attractive Hostesses, Charming Service - Can't go wrong. I've been to Ivy's Bistro a few times now, and it's quickly becoming my favorite spot. The food is very good and on par with the more pricey spots nearby. You can't go wrong with the Lemon Chicken or the Chicken Marsala. But the reason I keep coming back is the very friendly, charming and familiar service you get. Imagine my surprise when the French waitress behind the bar remembered my name, favorite drink and last dinner order, even though the last time I visited was a few weeks ago! That is great customer service. All of the service staff were just as kind and attentive. In short, very attractive, friendly hostesses with good food? The owner has delivered against a winning formula. If you go, be sure to be on the lookout for Katia.
Average service but the food in GREAT. I go to Ivy's at least once a week and i can honestly say that the food is really great. The service is extremely slow and can sometimes be frustrating but the food more then makes up for it. The Eggplant Rollatini appetizer is beyong phenommenal, I order it everytime I am there. The Mac and Cheese is also amazing. I have had their salads and pizza and can say that nothing have ever disappointed. Basically if you dont mind waiting a little extra for your food you will love this restaurant. Oh and be sure to ask for Diet Coke in a can, there is something very off about their fountain soda.
Still has great pizza. Havn't been here since the old owner sold the place-I might add I don't like change. BUT, was pleasantly surprised by new Management & ownership. The Place looks great, clean & fresh! The Menu has almost anything you'd hope for, while still keeping some favorites of the past & adding an interesting twists to new items; Baked macn' cheese topped w/ bread crumbs,YUM! Also try the Fried Cheesecake-words can't desribe. Overall very happy. Will be back when in town.
