Great Service - Awesome Experience. Love this place. The staff knows how to make you feel like royalty. I saw a video of this place on another website and went to it. If you're looking for a good champagn bar, go here. They also have affordable bottles.
DISAPPOINTING.
I was SOOOOOOO disappointed with the Bubble Lounge.
Service was terrible - we waited forever for our waitress to come refresh our drinks and check on us. At the end of the night she interrupted us and reached in front of us to grab our bill - so tacky.
Champagne selection was good, all of it was very pricey, the Champagne cocktails are made with cheap sparkling wine, but they still charge you $16 for these.
Food - we ordered chocolate and caramel fondue. It took 45 minutes to come out and was not fondue. it was a platter with unripe strawberries, gross things they were trying to pass as marshmallows and 1 cookie cut in half -- there was one little dish of cold chocolate and one of cold caramel to dip in....NOT fondue.
It was totally not worth it.
A sparkly standby that makes any occasion special. Bubble's dark, swanky ambience and huge selection of champagnes intoxicate many a young transplant to the big city. Bright-eyed singles bypass the bar to sprawl in the plush sofas and chairs arrayed throughout the spacious, high-ceilinged lounge. Exposed brick, vintage champagne posters and floor-to-ceiling shelves loaded with bubbly create an atmosphere highly conducive to tipsily intimate conversations. Go downstairs to the secluded Krug room for a look at the expansive wine cellar. With more than 300 types of champagne from which to choose, it's easy to splurge. By-the-glass selections range from Piper-Heidsieck to Veuve Clicquot and are offered in tasting or full glass sizes and in flights. If bubbly doesn't float your boat, try one of the potent martinis. The menu of salads, cheeses, oysters, caviar, fresh fruit and chocolate fondue makes the celebration complete.
Cozy Champagne Bar with Great Bites.
This exposed brick candle-lit Tribeca champagne lounge blends plush gilded era furniture with modern leather seats and big round “bubble” lighting. The chill bi-level spot has intimate couches upfront, in the main room and downstairs. The romantic setting is perfect for sharing delectable small plates (grilled duck with brie and fig jam) and sensual fondues with strawberries from $9 to $15.
For large groups or parties, reserve some banquettes (sans sleazy bottle minimums) and listen to the DJ do his thing Thursdays through Saturdays. Large single-item platters of grilled sandwiches, apps, desserts, or cheeses are great for groups at just $60.
Conveniently located Bubble Lounge sits blocks away from the Canal St. N, R, 6 stops, and just steps from 1 train on Franklin St.
The staff is friendly as the food is amazing, catering to details, presentation and unique pairings – much like any good bartender would try. Speaking of which, Bubble Lounge’s drink list is juicy.
Champagne and sparkling cocktails are $16, special martinis like the Kit Kat and specialty drinks (California dream, the French Quarter, Brazilian sangria, Raspberry Caipirinha) are $15 a pop.
Fantastic!. My boyfriend and I were walking around and randomly went into the Bubble Lounge. We were only planning on staying for a drink or two but the bartender was so nice and funny...we ended up staying most of the night! Great place, good people and the price was awesome!
Great selection of Champagne!!!. I was there last night and the Champagne rose from Ayala I tasted was sublime, well balanced and crisp. The atmosphere of the bar is very pleasant too. Thanks!!!
Perfect for After-Work Chatter!. My girlfriends and I selected this place for our yearly Christmas get-together for some drinks, dinner and gift-exchanging, and trust me...NOBODY was disappointed! On-street parking was super easy (I parked right across the street!) and the hostess was more than accommodating in finding us a cozy nook with plush couches and chairs. Beautiful setting, whimsical paintings (all champagne related) and "bubble" shaped lighting helps to convert this place into a professionally swanky place! Cocktails are a BIT pricey, but seeing as we were on a celebratory budget we all tried almost every one on the menu, SO GOOD! The small menu worried me a bit, but everything was perfectly delicious! Small sliders, the truffle foccacia (amazing!), the cheese platters, and dessert, it was all more than enough! The only thing missing was a fully-functioning fireplace against a snow-drift backdrop with a twinkle of Christmas lights. The thought didn't escape my mind for a mere 2 seconds before a manager pulled down a HUGE big screen and projected a large image of a crackling fireplace. Definitely not the same, but was totally awesome! Service was attentive, the ambiance wasn't overly loud, and the music was groovy. I truly can't wait to go back, either with my husband or with the girls! P.S. If your the suit-chasing type, or have a strong attraction to European men...you'll have more than your fair share of eye candy! ;-)
DISAPPOINTED. Last night at Bubble Lounge I was served a "Kir Royal" with sparkling wine instead of champagne for the high price of the drink. My friend's glass of red wine was only 1/4 filled. All these drinks were made by a lady bartender at the Bubble Lounge. I was very disappointed!
Cool place. The Bubble Lounge is a cool place. Comfy, retro couches and armchairs; mirrors and lighting make the decor open up. A great place to hang out and chat with friends, but the music pumping keeps your adrenaline up. I paid $7 for a Stoli Razz and 7Up which is pretty standard in NYC. Check it out
