  2. The Mussels in white wine appetizer was fantastic!
  3. When the host/greeter got sick of all the upset people asking why their reservations were not being honored, he just left and went to the bar to hang out the "buddies" he had let in.
  4. We didn't have any wine, just content to be drinking good old NYC tap water and cokes.
  5. Go there if you can afford it, although if you don't order everything on the menu along with 2 bottles of wine and a few cocktails like we did, it might not cost you almost 100 per person.
  6. good wine selection not much variety but it has the classics that are worth drinking.

Good place

by cbass8584

Went late on a sunday night. My girl friend didn't like where we were seated and I asked if we could move somewhere else, then, ate salads and apps and we asked to move our seats again. They were very accommodating and polite about it, The house Chianti was good, not sure the name of it, the meal was very good penne alla vodka was a little expensive for a small amount of pasta and sauce. Chicken parm was very good as well, the portion was a good size. Had dessert and wine till close to midnight, were never asked to leave or told that they had actually closed at 11. I thought that was very nice. I would go back again, but may try somewhere else just to get a relative comparison.

I regularly come to NY to shop and have fun. But tonight I made the mistake of going to angelo's at mulberry. The food is terrible, very very very over-priced, service is awful, in short; a tourist scam restaurant.

They didn't allow me to take the bill. It's a shame for the restaurant business.
