The Scene – It's nothing fancy, but that doesn't keep after-work drinkers from loosening their ties and staying awhile. Antarctica is a cool place to hang out and watch a game. They have friendly bartenders and a bunch of beers on draft. You can also shoot a game of pool if the game gets boring. Highly Recommended.

It's a dive

Pretty plain place. There's a pool table in the back (the sticks could use some work). A few TV's scattered throughout and a decent jukebox with a mix of hip-hop and rock. Surprisingly draws a decent number of English and Irish folk. If you come to play pool for fun, be warned. The people who gather by the pool table are very competitive. If they lose, some will try and interfere with the next game to vent out their frustrations. Name night is a good deal if you're lucky enough to have yours drawn. Bathrooms are plain.

Friendly Staff, Great Space

I've held two parties here and the staff and the space were great on both occassions. Very attentive bartender, plenty of seats, and a good jukebox. And the volume of the music is such that you can actually hold a conversation without screaming.
