Was going to get my hair highlighted here but..... I booked my appt after stopping in for a consult. I was than told that I would have to pay ADDITIONAL money to have my hair blown out or I could do it myself.. what the what?! After you are going to spend so much money getting your hair highlighted, don't they want to see the color of it dry? That was off putting and for that lack of customer service I decided to go elsewhere.

ten years of amazing haircuts. Love this place. I have left hair salons crying, but never Space Salon. I am very particular about my hair and Space Salon never disappoints. I go to Mark Johnson, he's sweet, professional and always does an incredible job. I get lots of comliments on my hair thanks to him and Space Salon.

Best Place for Natural Locks. I have always been extremely picky about my hair and therefore have been going to the same color specialist for the past ten years of my life. However, when I moved to NYC, it became a bit ridiculous to plan my visits home around my stylist's availability. I finally decided to try someone new and am so happy I did. Not only did Lola meet my expectations, but she exceeded them. She took the time to carefully consult before strategically highlighting and lowlighting my hair to give me the best and most natural results. I would happily refer her to anyone and am so relieved to have found someone else to entrust with my hair.

Best bet for blonde highlights. If you're looking for natural looking highlights that don't fade quickly and grow out well, look no further than Lola at Space Salon. She used a mix of high and low lights to bring my natural dark blonde back into the mix and accented it with beautiful highlights. I couldn't be happier with the results. I've tried many other colorists throughout the city but none were able to get this desired effect. Lola does an amazing job and the service at Space Salon couldn't be better.

Hiroko rocks!. Hiroko's been cutting my hair for almost a decade and I love her. She's beyond talented. We've been together through a couple of boyfriends and a more than a couple of hairstyles---a mullet, a faux-hawk and everything in between, including a gorgeous loose up 'do for my 2007 wedding. She's capable and she's an artist in the truest sense. (She also did my makeup for the wedding and I couldn't have been happier). I've sent a lot of clients her way and not one of us has the same texture or style hair and she makes it work; she's versatile and then some. Hiroko's the best!

Hiroko tames Filipina locks. My hair is extremely thick and straight,and known to dull the super sharp blades of hair stylists. When my husband asked Hiroko, "do you think you can cut her hair?" there was no hesitation, "oh Yes." she replied. The next day I made the appointment and history was made. Hiroko has tamed my hair with a stylish cut that works both for my face, and lifestyle. With the Salon so conveniently located next to an A, C, E subway stop in Soho, why go anywhere else?

She has magic.
Lucky for me, Renee was recommended to me. Because every time I leave the salon, I float. More than once, utter strangers have asked me if Renee cut my hair. In fact, at a restaurant, on the street, someone I don't know has asked me if Renee cut my hair. I've never had so many compliments from men and women on my hair before. In short, Renee has a magic touch. I trust her and she has an amazing way to tailor my hair to complement my face and personality.
But try not to go when I need an appointment.

Wouldn't get my hair cut anywhere else!. Kanna has been styling my hair for over 2 years. She is extremely talented and always makes me look my best. I trust her 100%.
