Rocco's, yes please!
by Kelly Melillo
We spent a week in NYC and hit up Rocco's 3x's, it would of been more but we were staying in midtown. The first night we thought we'll take a box of sweets home and enjoy them with coffee in the morning, just after we enjoy one in the shop. One turned into so many we no longer needed the box to take the rest with us. The man behind the counter chuckled at us as we were leaving when he asked what happened to our box. The shop is always bustling especially after dinner time. I especially like the back room with the exposed brick. They are open till midnight, so you can go to dinner, take a walk to make room and head into Rocco's for dessert!
Best cannoli in NYC - end of story!
by srod33
The atmosphere can be a bit rushed - but this place has the best cannoli in NYC. Trust me...I have tried them all over the city and this is the winner!
Example: great place for good bread

everything looks amazing and the cheesecake was so tasty. The only drawbacks were it took a while to order and even longer to pay.
- Pros: amazing cakes
- Cons: slow service
Best Service is not good business
by donloggins
Went to Rocco's at just before noon on a Friday to buy some pastries. The place was empty. I stood at the counter for 10 minutes and no one came over to help me. There was an male employee behind the counter having a coffee and pastry who looked at me and then kept eating. The waitress was talking on her cellphone the whole time. I guess they do so much business they can afford to ignore customers. I went to the bakery directly across the street on Bleeker and got some wonderful pastries and the staff were very nice.
- Pros: none
- Cons: service
Excellent italian pastries!!
by jgconf
I have been going to Rocco's for many years and I have to say it is one of the best places in NYC to get Italian pastries. Everything is homemade and the Cannoli's are hand filled to order. They also have the best homemade Italian ices in the summer. If you are in the area (Bleeker and Carmine) definitely give it a try!
- Pros: Great pastries!
- Cons: Slow service
