best mexican food nyc. Last weekend I was out with my wife and was looking for a place to east. After doing a search on my phone I came across caliente cab. My wife and I were very happy with the food and the service. We will recommend caliente cab to all of our friends.

Good Place but sort of expensive. Very good location, with great outdoor seating. A good place to go with friends. The food is ok, typical Mexican, nothing out of this world. The portions are sort of small too. The food comes out real fast also.

I love the margaritas, especially the frozen ones. The drinks make this place for me. They're around $14, but one is really all you need, and they're huge. The apple one is my favorite.

Good Guacamole - but that's seriously it!. I've been here way too many times than I'd like to admit - I guess when I'm hankering for Mexican food and I'm in the city without a smart-phone, I stupidly give this place the benefit of the doubt.

The guacomole is good and they make it in front of you. The rest of the food is really gross and oily. The bathrooms are dirty, and even the inside of the place is kinda nasty. Prime seating is outside, and that's only on a nice day.

Don't go here! It's expensive and just gross. REALLY GROSS. If you find yourself at the 6th avenue location, walk east on west 3/west 4 - there are two places that are far better than this place.

lame Mexican food. Some of the worst Mexican food in New York City. Lame service. It's not a horrible experience, but have a margarita at the bar before being seated so you're a little tipsy and won't notice that the food is lousy. This is a place for college students or tourists who don't notice how bad the food is.

What's spanish for Horrible?. Wow, I hate this place! Food is terrible, staff is rude, and everything about it screams tourist trap. Only go here if you hate life.

Great Time!. Had a great time with a few friends, the new menu is varied and the server was very attentive. I read other reviews and I wonder where these whiners went, it couldn't have been the same place I went to. A very positive experience.

Great margueritas. I had a great time Friday night at Caliente Cab Company. My girlfriends and I had

the guacamole and several entrees including the fish special. The atmosphere was great.

The wait staff really knew the menu items and also asked us if we had any food allergies.

The music was great. The margaritas were the best I have had so far in the city and we

have been on a margerita fix. Definitely would go back again.

awesome margaritas - great mexican food. fun mexican restaurant- greenwich village institution. Been going for years and the food is always great and the margaritas are the best in town. High energy- good bar scene.

AWESOME FOOD , GREAT DRINKS. HAVE NOT BEEN HERE FOR ABOUT A YEAR AND THE MENU IS DIFFERENT WITH GREAT NEW ITEMS. THE CALIFORNIA SPRING ROLL WAS LIKE A "MEXICAN SUSHI ROLL", WHOLE WHEAT TORTILLA WITH SHRIMP, AVOCADO, AND RICE. WE SPLIT THIS (2 OF US) AND ALSO HAD SOME TERRIFIC TAPAS AND CEVICHE. BIG PORTIONS, AND ALL GOOD VALUE. MUST TRY!

Horrible. it is the only Mexican restaurant place in the world that charges for chips and salsa and the portions shrink every time I go there....never again!
