Great Gay Bar Catering To Men Of Color. Chi Chiz is almost a throwback in this era of trendy and sooooo-cool hip Gay bars and restaurants. There's nothing manufactured about Chi Chiz, it's what it is -- an old-fashioned NYC saloon. A warmly welcoming place, Chi Chiz caters to Gay Men Of Color. Which doesn't mean that whites won't feel right at home, because we do. There is a delightful karaoke night, but it's not for laughs. There is some serious R&B talent parading itself. Food is fine, running to pub fare, and the drinks are rich and moderately priced. On Sunday, Happy Hour stretches from 2 pm to 9 pm. And the daytime weekend bartender is tall, dark ebony, and absolutely gorgeous! Highly recommended.
