Don't ever eat here! I am dead serious, the past 24hrs have been nearly the worst I can remember in my whole life. All thanks to this dive! The waitress was a space cadet from start to finish. My date and I each had a Brooklyn Lager, both were rather warm(not supposed to be). The head on the bear looked funny, like the glasses hadn't been cleaned properly. We didn't think anything of it. The food itself was decent tasting, but 3-4hrs later I was home on the bowl, fully believing that I was very seriously ill, and I am not out of the woods yet. We both shared the appetizer and her entree, neither of us finished our food, perhaps it was hitting us that fast, and our bodies were telling us to give up on the foul food. My date told me today that as soon as she got inside her apt, that she hurled. Thankfully neither of us were sick until we said goodnight, but, we felt miserable, not fun for Valentines day. Personally I just won't go back to a place that provided half assed service and food/drink that was questionable to say the least. I plan to file suit. I lost a sick day for this! Anyone know the direct line for the board of health?

We came to this pub in August 2007 as i had always wanted to go there as they sell Enlish beer. before i go in to one i must say the year before we had drinks and everything was fine. We decided to eat on a week day about 7.30 ,only 2 tables were eating including us. All the meals were either cold ,not cooked or overcooked and i mean rock hard. I had sausage and mash ,the sausage you could use to poll volt it was that hard ,the mash was just a wet mess. When we told the waitress she said it was not her fault, i said you could see the state of the food would you eat it? she said No. First i was not going to pay but thought i better but would not leave any tip. We left the money in the jar excluding tip,my wife then saw her take $10 out for a tip and chased us up the street saying they were $10 light. My wife gave her the $10 even though we new what she was up to. NEVER AGAIN.

We came here after dining in the area for some drinks. What loads of fun. So casual and good old fun with the staff. The staff were the best! Thanks for the great time. They made it a point to make sure everyone in there were having a great time. I can't remember the last bar that would do that. They usually just want your money and thats it. I will definitely come back.
