Sultana, the Queen of the Middle East Village, was wearing a spaghetti-strap, beaded, low-cut sheath. I was in tailored plain black pants. There was something wrong with this picture.
All Beef Patty handed me a menu. It was nice. Roasted beet salad, crab cakes, grilled chicken, shrimp, salmon.

Famous for its cheeky service and long-running Bitchy Bingo on Wednesday nights, this Village perennial is a favorite for bachelorette parties and other groups out for some lightly risque fun. The restaurant, decorated with photos, chandeliers and fake gems, serves American dishes named after local drag stars, but the main draw is the entertainment; drag shows begin at 7:30pm each night, and at 12:30pm for Sunday brunch. Cover charge is $7 on weekends.

We had a great time. The girls give personalized attention for bachelorettes, birthdays, etc. We didn't eat the food, we just paid the cover so I can't comment there. We were not told that a 20% tip is added to your bill automatically.

It was my first time at a drag queen show and I LOVED IT!! It was so much fun how the they get the audience involved. The drinks were sooo yummy. The decoration was fabolous. The only thing that I did not like was that they forgot to bring out my food. There was 8 of us and they brought theirs but not mine. It took a while to get our waitress's attention but finally she noticed and it took another half hour after that to get my food. Other than that, everything else was really good!

I went to Lips for the first time a few weeks ago and I had a great time. The food was great, the staff was friendly and funny, and the entertainment was a barrel of laughs! I recommend this place for anyone with an open mind and wants to have a good time.
