Is it me??????. My daughter and I went with a positive attitude based on the reviews we have read. Perhaps I was in a different place then the other reviews. Very small, appeared to be dirty (although that was only the way it looked to me) broken tile floor, bathroom close to the oven, oven door had to be closed in order for me to pass by. Food was just okay. A diner, or Ihop would have similar quality waffles. Creamed chicken tasted like mushroom soup with added chicken; Mac and cheese was good. Overall, I would not go back. This was the one on Hudson Street (I can't speak for the others). 1 coffee, 1 waffle order, 1 creamed chicken order, 1 mac and cheese......bill $50.00.

great deal!. Inexpensive and good. Sit outside for a true European feel. You can't go wrong with the muscles! Cash only so come prepared.

rude service. the service at this place is amazingly rude. it also takes forever to be served. there is generally a line and the staff seems to feel no sense of urgency to accomodate the customers.

Sports/Drinks/Dinner. This is a very pleasant restaurant and the prices are fair. On Wednesday's is all you can eat mussels for $19.99, which is very tasty. The steak is good as well and the scenery is very unpretentious. Dinning here was an enjoyable experience.

Delicious.. This place is a true WV gem that gets all the variables right. The omelettes are fluffy, french toast perfect, and the coffee's strong, served in a big white beautiful mug. The host has been there for as long as I've lived in the neighborhood (7 years), and he never fails to be pleasant and accomodating. I'm dreaming about their crisp french fries as we speak...

A cute, consistently excellent Belgian restaurant for the budget-minded.. In Short
This cozy tile-floored storefront, with just a handful of tables and an open kitchen, is beloved for brunch. Locals wind down into the weekend with fluffy omelets and sandwiches served on wooden cutting boards with fried-to-order frites. For dinner, the menu leans toward heartier appetites, with specialties like the blanquette de volaille a l'ancienne--a Belgian chicken pot-pie, minus the crust. The wine and beer list includes many reasonably priced options.

Charm All the Way!. This is a wonderful treat, nestled into the sleepy Hudson Street locale for anyone visiting the west side. With adorable dining furniture and candle light, this cafe makes for a romantic dinner, but just get there early enough to secure a table you like, as the limited amount makes it a hard-come-by find.

do you know who Captain Haddock is?. if so, you'll love all the Tintin paraphenalia... but don't let that fool you, the food is great and the place is open late. Granted, we were a bit drunk, but we _always_ are... Excellent mussels, steak, salads, I think we even had dessert, several bottles of wine, and they not only brought our food but didn't kick us out! Come to think of it, they did seem to change servers mid-meal -- maybe it was the end of the shift? anyhow -- highly recommended, I'll be back!
