Best Happy Hour in the meatpacking.
Wow ! I went to McKenna's after work last week, they have Happy Hour everyday form 11-7 pm. and great food.
I will definately go back soon.

This place reeks of good times.....
I was once a regular, so much so, the regulars hated me!! I lived in that bar for almost a year. Thanks to the owners for putting up with me!! At the time I was a wreck, sorry. The bartenders were great and very tolerant, towrds me at least, Like Ames, Jess, Kimmy, don't I owe you a huge tip?!, Victoria, and that crazy one that always worked nights. I think her name was also Jess. The cooks were funny and made excellent food. I miss the food. I wonder if Oscar is still there?!! All the regulars, like keithie, lloyd, the doonesbury chaps, that chick from hell's kitchen, Joanie, can't believe I remembered.
Anyway, THIS IS THE MOST AWESOME BAR YOU'LL EVER STEP INTO IN MANHATTAN.
THE BARTENDERS, AGAIN, ARE BEAUTIFUL, FUN, FUNNY, AND TAKE NO LIP, SO DON'T GIVE THEM ANY!!! THE OWNERS ARE VERY COOL BUT JUST BEHAVE. THE REGULARS ARE, WELL, GO IN AND FIND OUT. AND THAT HAPPY HOUR IS KICK A**!!!
I miss the place, but sometimes you just have to move on. Maybe I'll come visit this summer around noon until seven, lol. If you guys don't miss me, then it'll even be more fun visiting.

Response to the Comment Below. In response to the comment below, the bouncer that is being referred to has since been fired. Therefore, I would disregard "ladies be warned". It isn't surprising that a girl wrote that review saying that the bartender was practically dancing on the bar and that this was somehow offensive. I know the extent of how far things go on that bar and it is nowhere near what would be seen at a strip club and is all in fun. So long as you aren't afraid of seeing some skin on a hot, fun bartender (even if you are a girl yourself), McKenna's is definitely worth a visit.

Was I at a bar or a strip club? Girls be warned!!. Disappointed! I went out with my girl friend for a catching up chat and as soon as I got there, the bouncer wouldn't leave me alone. The tons of free drinks were cool but he wouldn't let us enjoy our night out, not to mention he reeked of booze. The bartender was practically dancing on the bar! If I wanted to see such things I would have gone to a strip club. Maybe I am not as open minded as others but the bouncer was way to pushy and the bartender made us uncomfortable. We finally gathered the courage to leave and have never been back. Bottom line: Totally unprofessional.

Best Bar Ever!!. I came to mckenna's for the first time the other night and I had so much fun. I got there at 5 and they had 2 for 1 happy hour until 7. I found out that its everyday from 12-7pm!!! best deal ever, they give you 2 for 1 on everything. The crowd there was very mixed and I met some cool people and had a lot of fun. I will definitely be coming back much more

Editorial Review. Just west of the Meatpacking District, this local watering hole with a long-running daily happy hour and an affordable bar menu is anything but sceney--in a good way.

Rachel!!. Best Dive/Pub ever!! all the barmaids are friendly and cool! Go for the awesome Happy Hour, which features 2 for 1 drinks til 7pm...awesomeness!

"F"ing best bar ever!!!!!!!!!!!!.
This is by far the best bar in Manhattan... if not the world. I moved from the city years ago but whenever i come back for a visit i must stop in and say hello. the drinks are chock full of booze, the bartenders are hot (and great to talk to) and the happy hour makes me smile with my liver! when i die i hope heaven is as enjoyable as Mckennas.
p.s.-the food is cheap and tasty too!!
