Great scissor and razor technique!

The master stylist Rick is the guy I use. He has a good haircutting technique, and will listen to what kind of shape and style you want. I see lots of classic cuts done at the KL salon, whereas Arrojo a few blocks away is the place to go for a wild shag 'do' ....at more the DOUBLE the price.

Cut is very well-priced for Soho/Village, while coloring prices are closer to normal.

• Pros: Skillful, great location, great value
• Cons: Not super-fashion forward.

Great haircuts at a very reasonable price

A friend recommended Rick, and I have been going there for over 5 years. It's a neighborhood place, and people are always dropping in for a cut, color, comb-out or manicure or pedicure. Many are repeat customers, and the staff is very warm and friendly. Rick has always been open to whatever I want to do with my hair. They can handle a wide range of styles--I've seen them do a terrific job styling men and women, old and young. You can get a Madison Avenue cut for half the price!

Do not go here for waxing!

I've been getting my arms waxed for many years now, and this is the worst it's ever been. It was pretty obvious the next day that the hair hadn't been ripped out of the roots, but merely broken off at the skin. It's six days later and my arms feel like I shaved them! I've never had stubble on my arms before. Don't go here for waxing services.
