Brad is an amayzing piercer!!!!!!!!!

by ILoveNY4

So I had been wanting to get my rook pierced ( the inner upper cartilage of the ear ) for a while and I had been downtown in SoHo for the night and knew there were TONS of piercing shops around. I came across Village Pop and decided it looked like the cleanest and most professional I had seen and checked it out. Right away I was able to speak directly to my piercer, Brad, and he helped me choose the type of jewelry to pierce with and which ear to do. I was brought into the back where he had his own private booth and sat down. The floor was so clean I was even able to put my bag down on it!!! Brad was very easy to talk with and made me feel Very comfy!! No awkwardness, no apprehension! He made sure I liked where he marked before piercing and was ready to go. I have over 10 body piercings and this is the FIRST ever that was completely PAIN FREE!!! I kid you not! Brad was extremely fast, confident and smooth, leaving the procedure the most comfortable I've EVER had...EVER!!! I can't stop complimenting him in particular! I was beyond impressed!!! Not to mention the priceing was quite reasonable too ($25) This was my first piercing in NYC, since moving here 5 months ago, and I will DEFINATLEY be back to have Brad do more of his impressive work!!!

not effecient, non informative

by mer631

one piercer here pierced my nose. He didnt tell me anything about aftercare. He put a regular earring in my nose- and your typically sopposed to have a hooked piercing or jewlery specifically designed for your nose peircing. he was IM'ing and looking on MYSPACE while piercing my nose. i wouldnt reccomend this place to anyone- but there are alot of other places on the same street. i would try "KINGDOM" or "WHATEVER" tattoo parlors.
