Perfect service!

Dr. Chernich was great - really friendly, helpful, and thorough, and one of the few doctors I've met who didn't make the appointment feel rushed and routine. The receptionist was also very thorough in explaining the options, charges, and my insurance coverage. Dr. Chernich was even extremely helpful in picking out frames! I'm beyond satisfied with my appointment. No one I knew could recommend an optometrist to me, and I took a chance with the West Village Eyecare just from reading the reviews posted here. I'll definitely be recommending him from now on.

Amazing Service!

My insurance changed and I was looking for a new eye doctor, I was reading the reviews of various providers that took my insurance and this one had the best, so I figured I'd give them a shot.

I was so impressed with Dr. Michael Chernich, first he walked over what my insurance covered, something which I have never had a doctor do, that's usually reserved for the office manager or front desk associate. Then he started the exam, which was very thorough, and he explained everything every step of the way.

After the exam the young man at the front desk was very helpful and nice, and explained more of what my insurance covered, and helped me to select a new pair of frames and explained the options for the lenses.

As soon as my eye appointment was over, I made sure to start recommending Dr. Chernich to at least 3 people. I just hope if my insurance changes again, I can still go back here.

Professional service

Professional service and very attentive staff. Their prices are competitive and the selection of frames is great. Great overall experience.
