The Scene
Sophisticated, rustic Italian decor placates an artsy, affluent clientele. A wood-burning oven and inviting fireplace warm the brick and wood interior, while a heated, covered garden attracts diners even on rainy nights. The noise level stays serene, even when packed. Though new chef Patrick Nuti hails from Florence, the menu still features much Pugliese cuisine, including calzones, dumplings and gilled cuttlefish over fennel and orange salad. All pastas are house-made, as are desserts like chocolate espresso-soaked ladyfingers.

I've here twice -- the first time for a regular dinner and the second time for Valentine's Day. My regular dinner of homemade pasta was amazing, but the Valentine's Day dinner and cattle room they herded all of the couples into was atrocious. Terrible service, cold food, all around awful experience. So great place, don't go there for V Day.

After reviewing the menu online and hearing such great things about this restuarant, i was very diappointed to say the least when i ate there last night. We started off with the panzoretti- Terrible! There was barely any cheese, nor did I see or taste tomatoes. It was more like a donut than a calzone. We also had the Inzimino and Pulpo - both very bland and uneventful. For a second course, we ordered two half orders of the Malloreddus and Tonnarelli. The pasta was good. You could definitely taste that it was homemade. The Malloreddus was delicious i must say! For entrees, we had the Zuppi di Pesce and Coda di Rospo. Both very bland. The Zuppi di pesce was so disappointing! Barely tasted like anything! The sauce was very watery. The monkfish was ok. Very simple. Nothing do go "wow" over. We didnt even bother attempting the desserts. Overall, I would never go back or recommend the restuarant.

I went there and took my mother. The waiter was great but the food was not that great and was extremely expensive . Don't get me started on the size of te portions -- especially for the apperitizers and drinks, including wine.
