I enjoy Mesa De Espana because they have good food & service. No attitdes, posers or being rushed to finish a meal. This is an ideal place to go if you enjoy eating a good meal, drinking great wine in a relaxed casual enviroment. They have some great fish/meat selections- they offer a varied menu beyond paella. If your looking for a scene, this is not the place.

Went here with my fiance as we were on a real spanish food kick. First off, this place is very very old-fashioned: white tabelcothes, plain interior, and black tie waiters. I thought it was totally boring but hey, I guess it is just more for the older crowd? We were by far the youngest in here. The food isn't bad, but nor is it anything good, and for the pirces they charge, you can do much better. The sangria was watered down garbage, and the "pitcher" was full of ice, we maybe got 5 glasses out of it! I wouldn't bother with this place, you could cook the same dishes at home for much cheaper. I think all the people giving this place a good review are from out of town.

Mesa de Espana is one of the best Spanish restaurants in the Tri-state area. Unlike other owners of such cuisine, the owners of Mesa de Espana are really from Spain. Their food is excellent and ambience makes you feel like you've just stepped into a cozy little restaurant in the middle of Spain! The aroma can be smelled from out in the street and the prices are extremely reasonable. Easily 5 stars!
