Perfect hidden gem. I love this place!! Domenico's is a hidden gem for it's obscured location and seems like a small room at first but then once in, it opens up and feels like your in Italy! The service is great and the food is delicious. What I really like here is the authentic cuisines that are offered. These are not restaurant creations but true recipes from Italy that not everyone knows unless your truly Italian. I would definitely recommend this for romantic couples or large groups to enjoy authentic Italian food.

nice time. Its a good place, and the food was fresh.

I had a party with 3 friends, the service was good even if our waiter never did a smile.

Italian style!!. I believe that this restaurant is such a hidden gem because of it's discrete location, but the food is what makes this one of a kind. The dishes are so well prepared and so scrumptious that you just want more and more. The service is so great that I forget that about all those previous bad experiences with other places. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want the best of the best!!

GO FOR THE FAMILY STYLE!!. I HOSTED MY SON'S GRADUATION FROM MEDICAL SCHOOL. WE WERE 15 PEOPLE AND THE MANAGER SUGGESTED A FAMILY STYLE DINNER THAT INCLUDED WINE. LOTS OF EXCELLENT FOOD, PLENTY OF WINE AND I THINK IT WAS SURPRISINGLY INEXPENSIVE. (I WANT TO SAY $50 PER PERSON) WARM SERVICE & ATMOSPHERE, UNPRETENTIOUS...I THINK THEY HAVE BEEN THERE MANY YEARS. I NEVER HEARD OF THIS PLACE BUT IT IS TWO BLOCKS FROM GRAND CENTRAL...VERY CONVENIENT.

Hidden Gem!!. First came with a group of friends with a pre-arranged family style dinner...food was amazing and the wine flowed!! don't remember the price but it was very fairly priced. Fast forward..I had my rehearsal dinner at Domenico's the day before my wedding. Lots of compliments on the food & service. Best restaurant in NYC that you never heard of.

Italian Place. I came here for a business lunch and did not expect anything special. I am not a big fan of huge lunches when I have to go back to work afterward- they make me want to fall asleep. However, I was quite surprised. Starting with the bread everything was delicious. On the recommendation of the server I got the Insalata alla Casalinga salad which was amazing: Mixed baby greens with organic tomatoes, balsamic

vinaigrette and shaved parmiggiano

at it had just the right amount of salt to make it taste incredible. Everyone else got hot meals, boned chicken, steak . I tried all of their food also and everything was perspired well and tasty. The server also was very accommodating to me and my party.

I have been thanking of the salad ever since and cannot wait to go back and have it again!

Love it!. This place is just plain good...I live in the neighborhood and this place is what NY is all about (or used to be anyway), there is no pretense here, the food is fresh and DELICIOUS, the service is great and it has been around forever, this is no fly by night trendy spot...which I am so sick of here in NY. I have lived here my whole life and treasure the little gems such as Domenico's...thanks!!!!!!!!

Mmmmm ... old school Italian at its best. I had a business lunch here. The place is like a block and a half from work but I had never been. Truthfully from the outside I thought it was some random spot. When I got there you could tell it was old school, which many Italian nooks in Midtown are. But this place was awesome. Attentive service without being overbearing, DELICIOUS food. They even made a couple dishes by request that weren't on the menu. It was quiet enough to talk shop but loud enough to not feel bad for, well, being a little loud! I was impressed.

Old school...but top notch. My firm, which is based in Midtown, uses this restaurant quite frequently for business lunches & dinners.

The food is really good, service is professional and they have a private room with projectors, A/V equipment, etc. They take care of everything and make my life really easy...and I am the event planner!

nice cooking. Compare apples to apples: Burger joints shouldn't be held to the same standards as four-star restaurants
