Best value. This French bistro has the best value for your money in midtown - great food, great ambiance, service is discreet - top that with generous drinks and you are set!

My New Favorite Place. Had one of my best meals at Meli Melo last evening. The portions are generous, the presentation gorgeous and the prices great. The staff is super friendly and welcoming, can't wait to go back.

This is a great place.
I have been going to Meli Melo for the past five years, I work in the neighborhood and have never been disappointed, the price is right, and the food is awesome by far the best around here.
The New York Times wrote about the owner and they were right! Highly recommend the place.

Disappointing and expensive.
Meal did not live up to expectations, and was poor value for money.
The pate tasted as if it had been bought from a supermarket, and I'd rather chew an old sock than repeat the steak. Creme brulee dessert was similarly disappointing.

It was a bad experience all around.
The steak tasted bad, pasta was over cooked and the service wasn’t professional.

FAKE POSITIVE REVIEWS for Meli… Don't Go.
Everyone in the neighborhood knows that Meli Melo is a place to avoid. The only people who eat there are bridge & tunnel types and tourists who don't know better.
Have you ever walked by a place and just by looking at what's on the plates and the diners' faces you know it's a dud. Well, that's Meli Melo for you.
And by the way the positive reviews are by SHILLS. Notice that almost all of them contain allcaps and three exclamation marks… LIKE THIS!!! Dead giveaway.

MELI MELO - A MUST VISIT!!!!!. Meli Melo is one of the most understated places in the city, we loved it when we visited again last month - and the price was right too! We loved the filet of sole stuffed with smoked salmon and our cousin thought the lamb tagine was a bit spicy, but still very tasty. We went there last night and the steaks are incredible and there is a reason they still do the duck the old -fashioned way - it is simply the best!!! You will enjoy the great atmosphere, good food , discreet service, in this 4 stars place. MELI MELO - A MUST VISIT!!!!!

Just Great Restaurant. I went to Meli Melo because it is my brothers favorite restaurant. I was impressed. The waitresses were very knowledgeable and polite. The food was superb and I am a regular food kind of guy. But the way the food was presented as well as the combination of "3's" made for a wonderful dinning experience. The location is just great.I would recommend to anyone.
