“Nice mello atmosphere to socialise.”
“Awesome place for drinks during a blizzard (Got the track record to back it up)”
“The burgers are awesome and the crowd is good.”
“It's a cool, relaxed place to start for the night, or a great place to take your parents to if they're in town for some drinks in a non-meat market oasis.”
“Service is always friendly making you want to return again and again.”
“Really friendly bar/waitstaff and if you are in the mood for a creative drink.”
Close enough to midtown to be at the heart of the action, but with all the atmosphere you expect from a friendly neighborhood pub and
restaurant.
Whether you're looking for somewhere for a quick business lunch, a satisfying dinner in our comfortable dining room, or somewhere to see your favorite sporting event on our 'Big Screen' TV, we'll be happy to welcome you here at Kavanagh's.
…
Good Pub Food. Great pub food here & the stir-fry is good too. Nice crowd with a good mix of neighborhood & sports fans
Good Guinness.
Good place to catch the Premiership on third ave.
Food is OK
Service is good
My choice for rugby and soccer in Murray Hill
Just a basic bar...look elsewhere for a cultural experience.. Not a big fan of sports bars, and this one tries to bridge the ga between pub and sports bar. THe food was mediocre at best, though the pints were fine. I'd probably choose Connolly's (I think it's on W45th.) over this one if you were seeking this type of atmosphere...
Great Irish Food. I really love the pub grub here.. Always a real traditional Irish Breakfast.. They def make THE best irish breakfast in the city. I dont like the tiny glasses, but all in all they have good drinks and good food. The service is really good too.
Good bar to take your parents to when they're in town.. A friendly, efficient and accomodating bar staff greet you a this Murray Hill establishment. Great place to have a Jameson and relax. Though there is a smattering of young people in here, the age range seemed to be early 30's and up. It's a cool, relaxed place to start for the night, or a great place to take your parents to if they're in town for some drinks in a non-meat market oasis. Haven't had the food, but I recommend it for drinks.
thai noodles !. I know it seems funny to recommend a Thai item at an Irish Pub but its great. Apparently the chef is from Thailand, the stir-fry is great too!
best Guinness. This place has the best pint of Guinness I've had this side of the Atlantic and believe me I've had lots
great pub. an oasis of friendliness & comfort in the sea of 'meat market' places that have recently sprouted in this neighborhood.
Best burger in town!. Perfect location for happy hour. The only irish bar near Grand central that is not a complete dive. The burgers are awesome and the crowd is good. Really friendly bar/waitstaff and if you are in the mood for a creative drink....these guys can make it for you. Awesome place for drinks during a blizzard (Got the track record to back it up)
a real Irish Pub.
not a pretend Irish pub staffed with disgruntled Californian screenwriters, this is the real deal.
great bartenders who know their business, good pub food & customers you can strike up a decent conversation with.
