Charming Little Irish Bar

Bartenders here are great. Crowd is a good mix of 20 somethings that either are just stopping by for a quick drink or are over-spilled from the various other bars/lounges on 3rd ave. Overall, a good place to grab a few drinks. For the ladies, it's a pretty good place to meet some boys.

Casual Is Key

Its neighborhoody, nuff said. Its also a pub, full of guys kicking back and chatting while sports are played on the two TVs in the background of the bar. Its a semi-lounge in a way and feels "cool" literally because of the ventilation system.

A Nice Place to Take a Load Off

If you've had a long day at the office and you need somewhere where you can go to relax, talk with friends, and get some beer at a reasonable price, then Third and Long is the bar for you. I went there on a Thursday with a group of friends and it was a great time. It wasn't too crowded so we actually were able to have a conversation; the beer was only $3 and the bartender (f) was very generous (and hott!) in giving us free beer; and there were plenty of flat-screen TVs around so that we could watch a game if there was a lull in the conversation. All in all, I give Third and Long a ten out of ten. Go there. Get drunk. Have fun.

what's not to like about Third and Long? The patrons are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back, the workers are extremely kind, and the drinks are good and cheap. It really is a hidden treasure in a city where drinking and having a good time is so expensive. It is like a real life, New York Cheers bar. PLus girls, you are guarenteed to find lots of available men, especially if you like firemen, they are everywhere in THird and Long.
