Charming Little Irish Bar. Bartenders here are great. Crowd is a good mix of 20 somethings that either are just stopping by for a quick drink or are over-spilled from the various other bars/lounges on 3rd ave. Overall, a good place to grab a few drinks. For the ladies, it's a pretty good place to meet some boys.

Casual Is Key. Its neighborhoody, nuff said. Its also a pub, full of guys kicking back and chatting while sports are played on the two TVs in the background of the bar. Its a semi-lounge in a way and feels "cool" literally because of the ventilation system.

A Nice Place to Take a Load Off. If you've had a long day at the office and you need somewhere where you can go to relax, talk with friends, and get some beer at a reasonable price, then Third and Long is the bar for you. I went there on a Thursday with a group of friends and it was a great time. It wasn't too crowded so we actually were able to have a conversation; the beer was only $3 and the bartender (f) was very generous (and hott!) in giving us free beer; and there were plenty of flat-screen TVs around so that we could watch a game if there was a lull in the conversation. All in all, I give Third and Long a ten out of ten. Go there. Get drunk. Have fun.

a def night life stop. what's not to like about Third and Long? The patrons are friendly, the atmosphere is laid back, the workers are extremely kind, and the drinks are good and cheap. It really is a hidden treasure in a city where drinking and having a good time is so expensive. It is like a real life, New York Cheers bar. PLus girls, you are guarenteed to find lots of available men, especially if you like firemen, they are everywhere in THird and Long.

Boys will be boys at this business-casual sports bar.. The Scene
A group email circulates at work: "Who's up for Third and Long?" and hours later they all pile in, jaunty in their khakis and button-downs, and thirsty for cheap beer specials and girls more flirtatious than their co-workers. Yes, there's more looking than action at this sports bar with a thumping dance soundtrack. But a dozen young men's hopeful heads still turn every time someone walks in, though pretty girls are prized more than they're approached. There's nothing spectacular about the place; it's popular because it's popular. So count on a crowd.

The Draw
All night Mondays and Tuesdays indulge in dollar drafts of Bud served in toast-inspiring glass mugs; Wednesdays pick up $3 bottles of Michelob Light and Corona. High stools at the bar and a cluster of mini ones around low tables in back ensure a place to take a load off. Even on weeknights, volume is at an uproar, especially if there's a game even remotely notable on one of the flat-screen TVs.

Frat House. Cater's to the college/just-out-of-college crowd. If you've only got, like, $8, come here. Otherwise, move on by.

Hottest Bartenders Ever!. 3rd and Long has, by far, the sexiest bartenders in Manhattan! The tasty dish that works Mondays and Wednesdays is the spitting image of Ben Affleck. If only he swung both ways - sigh! In any event, he's still pretty to look at, especially after 10 beers on $1 draft nights (Mon/Tues). All in all, good prices, decent tunes, and WONDERFUL service!

Good Pre-Game. Third and Long is a good pregame bar. Not a bar you are going to want to hang out at all night, but a cool place to have a few beers. Don't expect to much as far as the atmosphere is. Small bar, decent tunes. Certainly not a hook up joint. REVIEWER MOJO33

Thre's no place like HOME!. The perfect definition of the neighborhood bar; a place where the bartender remembers your name AND what you like; The bouncers are friendly and look out for the customers, and most importantly, the prices are great (ESPECIALLY $1 DRAFTS MON/TUES)! Finally, a place in Murray Hill where you can hang out and not feel surrounded by pretentiousness. A great spot for NFL Football too!
