Nice change of pace. There aren't that many upscale lounge scenes within a few blocks from the Murray Hill Bar Scene. Morgan Bar is a nice change of pace... a good place to impress a date and actually hear if she has anything worth saying. Comfy chairs for two, excellent service at the bar.

BLONDE HAIRD WAITRESS.... I visited this place after a friend of mine told me what a nice hidden bar/lounge this place was. So my fiance and I decided to visit this place only to be disregarded by the BLONDE HAIRD WAITRESS. She saw my fiance and I standing at the bar patiently waiting our turn to be served and she even acknowledged us, then a mature white lady came up next to us at the bar and the waitress knowingly ignored us and served the white lady before us. Needless to say, we ordered our drink, tipped her, and my fiance told her about her total disrespect to us. Will never visit this place ever again !!!.

Hidden Gem in a city of Dull Rocks. I almost hesitate to write this because Morgan's Bar has become my favorite hideout and I'm afraid giving it a rave review will cause the masses to come for a drink, but I'll take that risk. I had a birthday party here and it was perfect; the space is cavernous, subterranean and uber chic - truly a gem in a city full of places trying to out-do one another. The music on Friday and Saturday nights is awesome and while it's a small space, there is plenty of room to dance, and dance you will! The drinks are delicious and the bartenders serving them aren't only nice, but nice to look at too! Highly recommended.

Intimate, comfy, impress a date. This bar is underground and dark.. lots of velvet and comfy couches and stools. Nooks and crannies.. great for snuggling and hugs. Super martinis though they got rid of the Lichitini. Great place to take someone to impress if u want to be seen as "in the know". Wait staff is also very cool .

Run Down Has-Been. Wow. This place has gone down hill. Went by last Wed to get a drink and the furniture was so ripped up and dirty I didn't feel safe sitting down. The waitress was nice, but that's it. ( Martini had way too much vermouth and it cost $16 bucks!)

trust me. friends from park ave entertainment have been doing tuesday night parties there so last night i decided to check it out. it was small and romantic - very attractive - adorn with lots of dark red velvets and beaded lights - cool ice like tables and a blue lit bar. although, they try and force you into a table so you'll use the cocktail waitress - i found it obnoxious and rude and made me stand instead. music was a touch loud for the size of the space but i still had fun and the small crowd made it nice for a tues night. good for going with a date. oh and the bartender gets an attitude if you dont start a tab and keep paying cash - hes a snippy one.

UPSCALE AND CHIC. Went there for my sisters birthday. There were a lot of hot models hanging out when I went. Its a little small but that adds to its charm. Yes it is expensive but if you want a cheap night out then go to some dive. This is the place you bring a really hot date.

waste of space. I can't imagine how this bar got into the top 10 most romantic bars! The management is rude and "POLITICALLY INCORRECT" to put it nicely and the drinks are overpriced and weak. With a change of management this could be a good bar.
