Loved it,. You have to love someone who wants to sit down with you and talk about what you want and then gives it to you! and more.

Patrick was my first haircut in NY and had the best experience. Cut is great and his company was just as good. Funny, Informative and generally a nice guy.

Love Maya. Let me first say, if you are looking for a fancy salon with several experts working on your color, and other experts working on your hair, with champagne in between - this isn't for you.

I first started going to Maya about 7 years ago - maybe more... I asked a friend of mine who always looked fantastic - perfect cut that always seemed to lay right & color that was totally natural looking - where she had her hair done. She sent me to Maya.

At the time I was going broke spending $150 on my cut alone at a top salon in NYC, plus I now had lots of grays & was coloring my hair at an additional large amount (forget about when I got highlights too). I actually loved my stylist & had been using him for years - even when I lived in Virginia. But I just thought it might be time to try someone knew - and I'm glad I did.

I will always love my old stylist, but Maya consistently gives me a great haircut. She will never push anything on you (although she likes me in a shorter cut, she accepts my desire to grow it very long now & then) and will always suggest things to flatter you based on your hair & face. I'm terrible at telling what will look good on me & will sometimes make her decide for me. Earlier this year she suggested that I would look good in bangs - something I always resisted & hadn't had since I was 7. They look amazing - I got so many compliments!!

As for her coloring abilities - beyond amazing. I sent another friend to her who paid lord knows how much (successful lawyer) for years at top salons - went to Bumble & Bumble back before any of us even had money. She is an incredibly picky (dare I say anal) person. Maya looked at her hair & matched her color perfectly! And I always get compliments on my color which has ranged from reddish to dark brown.

Well, don't want to write a novel - but hopefully this will help anyone who's debating....

Kitty- the best in NYC. I've been going to Kitty since the dawn of time. After another salon destroyed my hair, an old friend recommended me to Kitty. I haven't gone anywhere else since. Everybody I've sent to her feels the same as I do- she's terrific!

Kitty is the BEST!. Kitty has been taking care of my hair for a while. She is an excellent colorist and my hair never feels brittle or stiff. She special-mixes my color and it always looks natural and has great highlights and depth. She gently steers me away from my wacky haircut ideas and suggests styles that are best for my body type and lifestyle. Kitty also has helped me to choose the correct hair products over the years. I have recommended Kitty many times and everyone was always satisfied. The management and rest of the staff are all enjoyable and pleasant. The salon is clean, bright and convenient. Make an appointment – you will be happy with the results.

Best Hair Cut & Color. I have been getting my hair colored and cut by Lora for 3 years now and now i would never trust my hair in anyones hands but hers. She is very talented, detail oriented and professional. Her hair cuts are very unique and I always get asked who does my hair. She is always up to date on all the latest hair trends which is great for me as i am in the fashion industry and always need to look polished. I have recommended her to my mom and girlfriend and they are extremely pleased as well. I highly recommend this salon and especially Lora!

IN LORA I TRUST!. I came to Lora in January with severly damaged and weak hair due to all my years of bleaching. Inititally I came for a much needed haircut as per the recommendation of a co-worker, but not only did I leave with a fabulous haircut, she has officially made me a color convert. Not only does my hair feel better, it looks healthier and IS much healthier. Aside from the fact that she is a very warm and sweet person - she is extremely proffesional, quick and efficient. I always leave happy and looking fabulous. What more could a girl ask for?

Great Hair Cut. I went from barber shop to barber shop. Inspirations was convenient, although a salon. I stopped in. Now, for over two years, I only go to Inspirations and I only have my hair cut by Lora. She is amazing. I trust her with all my "important" haircuts. A lovely person and great at her job. Recommended very highly.

best hair cut for men in NY. I have been geting my hair cut at Inspirations for 6 years. I travel a lot and at times have had to get my hair cut in another city. No more. I am sticking with Lora who has been great for all these years. I get comments from many male friends about how well she styles my hair.

Best Hair cut in New York. I have been a loyal patron of this salon for 2 years now.

I only go to Lora, she always gives me the latest cuts. Extremely professional,

very trendy. She always gives me suggestions and listens to what I would like without being pushy.

I am a loyal fan for life! I would highly recommend her.
