5 Stars for Hair Fashions East. My hair was dry, lack luster and shine. I am blessed that there is a salon to go to that helps save your hair. My hair was getting thiner and with the help of George and his Supportive Staff, my hair is getting to be healthy again. My sister, neice and some of my friends have been going to George's salon for years. I've noticed how healthier their hair is getting in spite ig the fact they are getting older! George believe's in Preventive Care-Saving your Hair. I now love my hair Again! Charlise is great...so supportive in taking care of my needs for I am an extremely busy career woman. Charlise is a perfectionist. She listens, advise and makes sure you are comforted...so professional! This Duet with their very suportive staff makes me feel like a Queen. I always look forward to my salon visits with George and Charlise!

Great Service - Hair never looked better!.
Was looking for a salon to take tender loving care of my teenager's hair. George provided a great consultation, and found a solution that met our needs. Never knew a "trim, press and curl" could look amazing! They listen to her and take into account her needs. There is a student discount, so she is able to have her hair done at least every 2 weeks so it always looks great. Her hair is in the best condition ever and is growing after less than a month. All of the stylists are professional and we are in and out quickly.
I could go on and on - highly recommend!

For anyone of any race blessed with curly/frizzy/kinky hair. I am Caucasian, yet I have extremely frizzy/kinky hair that would grow into a 1970's style afro if left to its own devices. Instead, I put my head of unmanageable frizz into the hands of George at Hair Fashions East (where I have been going religiously for more than 10 years). George relaxes my hair exactly as much or as little as I want, and he always gives me a great haircut as well. George and his staff are very knowledgeable - they know how to relax hair without damaging the scalp or hair. They are thorough, careful, and caring. Any woman with ridiculously curly hair like mine would be doing herself a favor by paying a visit to George and his staff at HFE. They can tame and beautify even the most unruly head of hair.

El mejor salon que he visitado, cliente fiel. Como mujer Dominicana, una siempre es muy sospechosa de los salones que no sean 'Dominicano' o 'Latino'. Este salon es un secreto del Midtown Manhattan. Primero, el servicio es excelente. Hay un sistema que incluye cuidado para el pelo en cada etapa de servicio -alisado, color, corte, blowdry/flatiron- para que el pelo nunca te quede maltratado. El pelo siempre queda con volumen, brilloso, y saludable. Segundo, los estilistas te accomodan estilo 'spa', buscandote cafe, te, subiendo te los pies, ofresiendo todo que te haga sentir relajada y comoda. Pueden preguntar por Hilda, una rubia Dominicana, muy carinosa y muy attentiva. Ella hace de todo, alisando, color, corte, y tu quedaras como actriz de telenovela! Tambien hay George, el dueno, profesional de belleza por mas de 40 anos-el conoce todo del cuidado de pelo y como perfecionista, siempre va asegur que salgas bella de su salon.

My salvation, the place that revives my hair and spirit..
A treasure I've returned to for 15 plus years, the one place where I will always receive a personal welcome and genuinely warm attention from everyone I encounter. A place where I will be assured of skill, knowledge, and artistry that I have yet to find from any other hair and beauty salon.
George and Charlise (the owners) demand perfection from themselves and their employees. The result (for me) is hair that continues to be thick, healthy, and abundant (even after 35 years of relaxing) and cuts that frame my face and are truly fuss free (think just two minute brush out.!)
From my first visit as a desperate and skeptical 30 something professional, through my childrens' Hair Fashion's guided development from clueless young girls to sophisticated hair confident teens, Hair Fashion's East continues to earn my trust and respect. I can think of no greater comfort than to have this sanctuary where I, and every client, can be assured of leaving polished and renewed.

Wonderful Salon!!.
For nearly 40 years I’ve looked forward to my Fridays with George and his staff at Hair Fashions East with the end result of always feeling pampered and renewed upon leaving.
George, the owner, is a competent and creative skin and hair specialist, hair cutter and stylist with an extensive European training background. Over time I have enjoyed the wonderful compliments resulting from George’s expert ability to customize treatments to meet my specific and changing and skin care needs, including the “bright red” hair rinse he mixes just for me.
The need for a healthy regimen of hair and skin care is ageless and as I approach my mid 70’s, I credit George and his congenial, caring and experienced staff (Manager: Charlise and Marlene, Hilda and Shaqajia) for the part they play in continuing to keep me young in spirit and young at heart.

Great results for shedding hair. Great results for my shedding hair after relatively short time period. Staff are extremely well-trained, and carefully assess clients' hair at beginning of each visit to determine best course of treatment.

His staff pampers you and makes you feel like a queen. My "crowning glory" never looked sooo good.
