I have been getting facials for the past two years. This was my second visit to Dr. Hatcher at Chelsea Dermatology. When I first met Dr Hatcher, the owner and doctor, he was very friendly and welcoming in his finely pressed suit and manicured hands. Almost too good to be true. Turned out that he was. When Imy best friend complained about having some pain during her dermabrasion, he acted very concerned and attentive and understanding. When he stepped away, however, he rolled his eyes and said that we had another Jewish American Princess "in the house" and that she was being a pain in the a**. He then added that at least he knew that their daddy's credit cards would always go through. Little did he realize that I was not asleep as he likely believed. I was lying back getting a facial and had a wet towel on my face was wide awake and saw and heard it all. I only wish we got it on tape. He then let out a disgusted groan before turning around and smiling again at my friend with the veneer of a used car salesman and asked if she was feeling better. So, while the facial was adequate, nothing very special at all, the condescending attitude and seeming to pretend to care about a patient in pain... left me with a very very sour taste. I will NOT be going back to Dr Virgil Hatcher if I had the plague and he was the last doctor on earth.
