Good pizza,Bad attitude!. I had pizza the other day at the aish market on 45th st., it was some experience. I ordered 2 pies and a roasr beef sandwich from the pizza station. The guy behind the counter was so rude. He's a loud mouth italian, who thinks he owns the place.( Does he? ) He was constantly on the phone with someone yelling and by the words that he used i would assume it was a woman. There was total disregard for customers. By the time he got around to my order, i didn't even want to look over at him. I finally got back to the office with the pies. They were o.k.,but nothing to brag about. I sure don't plan on standing in line again, to get lousy service.

Bad experience. I went here to this market on Good Friday to pick up lunch for a small group in my office and it was very quiet. Approached the deli counter and began to read the sandwich board, the deli man seemed a bit rushed and pressed for my order, when I began to give him the corralating #'s for each of the 5 sandwiches he seemed quite overwhelmed and shouted "whoa whoa whoa". It wasn't busy and it wasn't a complicated order but he was a bit rude. I left with the disticnct feeling I had annoyed the gentleman at the deli counter. To add insult to injury the group said the sandwiches were chewy. Live and learn, I won't be going back.

Not worth it.. I am done with Amish market. I live around the corner and I have gone often.

No more. Almost every time I've been there, something has gone wrong. They forget to put something in my bag. The milk is bad. I order coffee and get hot chocolate. The girls in the check out stand are more interested in talking to each other than ringing you up, and will turn their backs and ignore you until it's convenient for them to do their job.

The prices on all their food, standard or gourmet, are simply ridiculous and about 20% more than you would pay at other gourmet markets for the same or better quality. Do not waste your time and money here.

Watch the register!. Great selection, blah, blah blah.. I live around the corner, so I shop there all the time and I have never gotten out of there without them overcharging me. NEVER. Keep track of the prices and WATCH THE REGISTER. Intentional or not, it ruins what should be a great market.

Wholesome Comfort Food. Great self-serve "Soup Bar"... ladle up a mixture of 1/2 carrot ginger and 1/2 split pea... delicious!
