I had pizza the other day at the aish market on 45th st., it was some experience. I ordered 2 pies and a roasr beef sandwich from the pizza station. The guy behind the counter was so rude. He's a loud mouth italian, who thinks he owns the place.( Does he? ) He was constantly on the phone with someone yelling and by the words that he used i would assume it was a woman. There was total disregard for customers. By the time he got around to my order, i didn't even want to look over at him. I finally got back to the office with the pies. They were o.k.,but nothing to brag about. I sure don't plan on standing in line again, to get lousy service.

I went here to this market on Good Friday to pick up lunch for a small group in my office and it was very quiet. Approached the deli counter and began to read the sandwich board, the deli man seemed a bit rushed and pressed for my order, when I began to give him the corralating #'s for each of the 5 sandwiches he seemed quite overwhelmed and shouted "whoa whoa whoa". It wasn't busy and it wasn't a complicated order but he was a bit rude. I left with the disticnct feeling I had annoyed the gentleman at the deli counter. To add insult to injury the group said the sandwiches were chewy. Live and learn, I won't be going back.
