Guiness on tap, what else do you need?

This place happened to be where we had our first drink after a long day of travel from SF to NYC. We were lucky to find a mellow spot for our first beer to start off a week vacation. Muldoon's Pub was a nice, friendly people, mellow bar feel (esp. for a saturday night) We sat, we drank, and chatted with a few locals, and off we went to the next spot.

We will probably stop in Muldoon's Pub again.

great neighborhood place

We walked in and it was quite crowded. Much to my delight, we realized it was karaoke night! Yay! I ordered a burger and fries and it was awesome- hot, juicy, flavorful and a good size, too. The french fries were perfect, as well. I had a beer with dinner, and my bill with tip was around $15.00. I also sang a little karaoke- because I felt so comfortable here! The waitress was super friendly and had an adorable Irish accent. The 'regulars' were a lot of fun- they sang and danced with me. (But how can you resist dancing to ?Faith? George Michael?) The atmosphere was nothing special, kinda dark and typical, but at least clean and friendly. Highly recommend!

Nice place, and unusually so for a place so close to GCT. Nevermind the bars off Vanderbilt, walk over to this place. Good food, nice atmosphere and great servers. I Especially like Merv and Pete. Pete is a great conversationalist and Merv is hilarious if you can hear and understand him.
