I went to this location for lunch today with a friend. Food at Manchanko is usually good, but the service is usually lame and today was one of the worst. The person right next to me was seated right before my friend and I were seated, but we ordered around the same time. When he was paying his bill, we were still waiting for our food. When we asked a waiter and later a waitress if they could check on our order. They both just said they don't know. When my friend reasked if they could give us appro.time of waiting, they said Kitchen's very busy. When we finally got our food (both came out at very different times), a waitress asked us if we still want our dumpling appetizer. I told her I wouldn't have time to wait and I was almost done with my food. These people just have no clue and so dumb. The food was still good. But of course after all this complaining, it wouldn't taste as good as it should be. I highly recommend you get a table, instead of being seated by the bar. The waitress at the bar is just so slow and careless!

I met a friend for lunch on 2/28/08... I should have turned around. Got there early so only a couple of tables were occupied... but it had a very bad smell (possibly urine). I dismissed it b/c I thought it was my imagination, b/c I have eaten at the westside location and loved it. Proceeded to order the soup... which tasted great... but the hard boiled egg looked a little funny. I shouldn't have eaten it...but I did. Unfortunately, I got extremely sick. I was throwing up all night. I have never written a review, but thought people should be warned.
