Last week I was looking for a golf store in NYC to buy a new Callaway Driver. After a quick search on city search I found The World Of Golf. I was very happy with the service and will be back in the future.

Golf and More!

I'm not a pro so it isn't really a big achievment - But they had a great selection of the things I was looking for. Very attentive saleman convinced me not to buy things I wasn't really needed!!!! Loved it!!!

As a new golfer I found the service excellent and the staff very friendly. This is a great store to shop for all of your golf needs.

Geez

Called and asked about getting fitted for clubs. Guy told me to come on over. So I walked over and told the salesman that I was a beginner.

He asked me how tall I was, told me the standard size would fit me and pointed at a few sets. This one is $150. This one is $400. This one is $900.

Guy showed zero interest in doing as much as letting me hold a club. I turned right around and left.

I had intended to buy a putter while I was there, on the spot. I won't buy a thing at that place. If they are all the same, I can buy my clubs online cheaper.

• Cons: Zero interest in working w/beginner women

Simple store, great goods

This store is great. It took me 5 minutes to find my Titleist Pro VX1's, a Scotty putter, and a Foot Jot glove. Other BIG stores, it takes an hour. I was in and out in 5 minutes. Lucky for me, I had a tee time an hour later, so I had enough time to grab a beer up in Westchester before my round. Thanks World of Golf!!
