The best place to change foreign currency. I have known the Peoples Foreign Excahane since 1989. I have never stopped going there for foreign exchange because comparatively they are the best. Everyone is treated with so much respect and dignity. All the staff are peole oriented, and would do everything to make customers comfortable with all they need. Great rates!!! I have been referring a lot of friends and family there and they come back happy. I recommend this service to anyone. Thanks for your service. Justine

wouldn't even tell me their rate for ONE currency.
called them to check on their rate for Australian $. declined to tell me, said they have too many callers asking for their rates. well... NO SH*T, guys, what do expect people to be calling about?

Their rates are much better than most. I have found them unfriendly if not outright hostile. Once they left the store unattended while I waited a few minutes, and they did not offer an apology or an explanation.
If you ask them for smaller denominations they act like you're upsetting their whole business. In short, like the soup nazi--good rates, but no people skills.

Sorry, Peoples foreign Exchange is still at 575 Fifth Ave. @ 47th St. 3 Floor, I have been using them for over 20 years, and they are just great.

Finally, a reliable Exchange Company. How pleased we are to finally find a reliable exchange company. As we deal in foreign currency on a steady basis it was important to find a consistent reliable exchange fir. Peoples Foreign Exchange was our overwhemingly choice. THIS PLACE IS A REAL RIP-OFF. STAY AWAY!. This has turned into a crummy business with few customers due to their terrible foreign exchange rates. If you want to get your head ripped off and handed back to you with a small amount of the proper value of what you should have received for your transaction, that's up to you. PEOPLES FOREIGN EXCHANGE IS A RIP OFF, AND THEY APPEAR TO BE UNFRIENDLY MIDDLE EASTERN ARABS WITH WHOM I WILL NOT DO BUSINESS.

its not what it used to be. Peoples F/X used to offer good exchange rates a few years back, but now they are a rip off. Even for Euros, which are highly traded. No reason for this. Goodbye Peoples!
