“Seems like it would be perfect for a quick mani/pedi at your lunch hour, a great spot to take a client or a group of girlfriends.”
What a gem!. What a gem! I found this place after getting a LuxeNow nail salon gift card from my dear friend (check it out, love it! www.luxenow.co.m ) Everything inside is spotless and fresh - from the pedicure chairs to the nail color selection to the decor. The staff was delightful! My manicure was perfect and I paid for an extra mini massage was incredible enough to make me want to come back for a full hour massage. What a great experience.
I love this place! love the products they use, their staff, and best of all, excellent customer service. I always feel welcomed, and never rushed.
I wish I lived closer, so I can get my nails done all the time here. In fact my best friend just got me a nail salon gift card that I can use here (from www.luxenow - has anyone heard of it? Itâs cool â you can use it any of their member nail salons in the city) how thrilled am I? It takes them about 20 minutes on my nails, and I love going on weekends. I generally never need to make an appointment but have been able to easily when Iâve needed to been able to make an appt with them on the days I decided to get my nails don
Beware - no concept of customer service; charged me $30 for a 10 minute pedicure. BEWARE! You will pay $30 plus dollars here and never know if you will be getting a 20 minute pedi or a 10 minute pedi! I paid $30 plus dollars for a pedicure that lasted about as long as flipping through a couple of pages in a magazine. I know this because the woman sitting next to me, who came in before me, was still enjoying her pedicure while I was rushed over to the drying toes area of the Think Pink factory. I pointed this out to the owner and asked her to explain how two weeks earlier I received a proper pedicure, lasting sufficient time, with careful consideration, whereas this time I was rushed off the chair like as if I had come in for a color change! The manager smiled and thanked me - basically telling me to get lost. Appalling!! I feel utterly ripped off - no concept of customer service here - and clearly very poor quality control (not standardized).
Don't Do It. There are so many nail salons in any neighborhood, I beg you ladies and gents not to waste your money at this one. I was there yesterday and had to pay extra for a quick dry coat and a hand massage! At Iris Nail on University, all that is included and the ladies actually pay attention to whether or not you're enjoying your experience. It's supposed to be like going to a spa, even if it's nowhere near as relaxing and I don't think we should settle for less! I took a look at my nails later and realized that the clear top coat I paid an extra dollar for is not covering the full expanse of any of my nails. And the quick dry doesn't live up to its name -- I learned the hard way when I discovered hot pink nail polish had smudged all over my toes and the insides of my shoes. For those of you in the neighborhood, Think Pink might be convenient, but you're doing better to walk over to Iris Nail or even to Bloomie.
The BEST Pedicure!. I received the best pedicure from Gladys! She even let me rest in the comfy cushioned chair after she finished. The best part? My pedicure has lasted for 3 weeks! They do a great french pedicure and a "spa treatment" is only $30. Well worth the bucks. But you need to call for an appontment.
