Thumbs down

by BLevine

The pizza crust was burned black, not well done but really burned. The bottom was like cardboard. One waiter was very nice but then another Woman helped us and was very rude. I would not reccomend.

  • Cons: a snotty waitress, burned crust

Best Thin Crust Pizza in NY

by pizzasnobnyc

I have been enjoying Lazzara's Famous Thin Crust pies in the Garment Center for over 20 years. They offer gourmet pies to order! The ingredients are fresh! This place gets very busy so you may have to wait to dine in! If you are looking for cheap, try a $1 slice from a hole in the wall. If you are looking for quality pizza and taste.... go to Lazzara's. They even have a new location in Hells Kitchen. I will be back next time in NYC.

  • Pros: Crispy Thin Crust, Made to Order, Always Fresh
  • Cons: Always packed for Lunch!! Fast Paced!!

Dont Bother!

by jxwnysa

The pizza is very good but the service is so horrible it?s worth avoiding their overpriced pizza. After going here for a number of years for lunch with colleagues we were turned away today because they were saving 3 tables of two that were next to each other in the event that a party of 6 happened to come in. We have been patronizing Lazzaras even though the wait staff shouts "whatda want" for years and were extremely disappointed in the way the owner turned down a table of 4 loyal customers. Not to mention one of their wait staff actually stole my credit card a couple of years back when I accidentally left it behind on the table.

  • Pros: Good Pizza
  • Cons: Rude Service
