42nd Street Photo offers some of the
best prices you’ll see on the internet. They have a lot of quality items in stock. My advice for placing online orders is to review what you want online and then call them to place the order. If you place on order directly online, it will likely be delayed because they’ll likely call you back to confirm details about your order. This can be a frustrating experience especially if you’re difficult to reach during the day and are 3 times zones away from New York.
I’ve learned that they do take customer service seriously. I worked with an online representative “Jonathan” that quickly cleared up confusion with my order. Thus, if you do have an issue with your order they will fix it. In the end you’ll end up with a quality item at a great price.
In the fall, I’ll be looking for a Nikon D800. This will be the first place I’ll look.

I just got my Canon Rebel from 42nd Street Photo! I did online research and this was the best price I could find anywhere. Plus, the shipment was super-fast. My husband ordered it on Monday and it was at my door on Thursday. I could not be happier with my experience. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience with 42nd Street Photo! I am an avid online researcher, and found that they had the best price on the Cannon Rebel T3i that I bought for my wife's birthday. Customer service was great. Would definitely buy from them again. And my wife loves the camera!

searching extensively, found the best price and friendliest service at 42nd Street. They called to confirm the order and address before shipping. The camera arrived within 3 days - I will never buy a camera anywhere else. Why would I ?

After researching Consumer Reports and deciding on the Canon SX40 HS, their price and buy link showed 42nd Street Photo had the best price. I placed my order that night, received a call to make sure I did not need other accessories the next morning, and received my camera the next day. I will definately use 42nd Street Photo for future photography needs.

42nd Street Photo had the best internet price on the canon sx40 camera, but I was a little wary of the usual NYC "bait and hard sell" in the past. But after a few gentle offers of other items over the phone, I was able to purchase the camera and it arrived in excellent condition on the day it was supposed to. Very pleased with the transaction and product. Way to go 42nd Street!
