There is no typical Body Essentials customer. Some are true believers in the ayurvedic medicine that is the spa's specialty, while others simply want good skin for Saturday night. Most fall somewhere in between, harmlessly exploring an interest in Indian philosophy perhaps cultivated at a yoga class. New midtown location is better!

Still the same great services at very good prices but now on 16 East 40th St. 2nd fl. between 5th and Madison. I've tried other spas for diff. services but this is the one i always recommend.
- Pros: relaxing, thorough and knowledgeable.

Small location but very professional and friendly staff, with a warm wonderful atmosphere. They provide affordable services and are located in Midtown.

Body Essential Day Spa WOWEEEEE!

There is not enough rooom for me to iterate the joy and pleasure I had having a facial at BodyEssentials Day Spa... it was so gentle and thorough, and you know how wonderful you feel after a facial? Well, that feeling usually lasts a few days, but that feeling lasted lasted over two weeks! With the help of my aestetician, who was highly educated in Ayurvedic services, I was recommended the most perfect unguents for my dry-patched skin. I still go there as often as I can, for the most perfect facial I could ever want.
