I am a songwriter without formal musical training, and came to Michael hoping that he could help take my words and melodies and turn them into respectable songs.

He did - two album's worth!

Michael's blend of musical/technical expertise, ingenuity, and genuine interest in helping his clients' dreams come true truly set him apart. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I have completed several works at MJL Sound over the last 10 years because Michael LaGennusa not only brings professionalism and expertise to the studio, but he brings a genuine love for music which drives him to really commit himself not to just work for you, but work with you. Michael produced and engineered my last CD which contains 16 tracks. It was a lot of work for me, especially when most of it was done at night after I worked all day. Even though I was tired, Michael encouraged me to stay alert, and the passion I had for working on the CD became his passion. The quality of the arrangement that Michael produces is excellent! I have received a lot of positive feedback about my CD, and I will continue to use MJL Sound for future works!

MJL sound is a small but powerful recording studio run by Michael LaGennusa. The studio prices for time beat out all the competition by far. If you are looking for a place to work on your demo or upcoming indie release, you are in very capable, professional and friendly hands working with MJL and Michael!
