Went for dinner and a drink at the outdoor bar with another female friend of mine. The atmosphere and food were good. Service was slow and disappointing. We had a female bartender who was pretty/petite and could make a drink but wanted nothing to do with us, only wanted to talk to male customers. My friend and I were fairly low maintenance, drinking a beer and premade frozen margarita... but to get a second one we would wait with empty glasses.... wait to get her attention, then when she gave us a second drink we had to reach to get it from near the spill mat, around the empty uncollected first glasses and empty dinner plate that she didn't take til after our check was given. At one point a guy behind the bar pointed out someone wanting a drink in her section and she replied "I'm cleaning".... he had to make her go wait on the person. At the end when I said I'll close my tab and give you cash for it... she ran my credit card.

I've been to Bryant Park Cafe twice, and both times I, and the two different people I went with, didn't like it. The salads taste like they picked the leaves off of the trees from Bryant Park and added a little bit of dressing on it. Also, there's not many choices to choose from, so if you're a picky eater, definitely don't go there. Service was really slow, and not attentive at all. The only thing this place has to offer is the nice roof-top setting, which is the only reason I went twice. Go once for the nice view, definitely not for the food though.
