Outrageously expensive as it is, this grocery store provides the midtown worker with solid healthy deli options and gourmet and organic nibbles, including kale chips, Vosges chocolates, kombucha and hummus snack sets.

oh my God! what a change !. I recently had occasion to re visit Ernest Klein, as it has recently experienced a management change. This place has become great all over again. Recently have started to go there on a regular basis, and let me tell you, somebody is definately paying attention to it now. Somehow you feel that you have entered a store that has been restored to it's former grandeur. great selections, great service, fast response, great platters on display, ordered one and it was great. just a phenomenal change.

home delivery. YOU WAIT, & WAIT....CALL AND CALL......NO DELIVERY.........FOOD'S SPOILED......HAVE TO SHOP AGAIN..........BE PREPARED TO CARRY WHATEVER YOU BUY!!!! DELIVERY IS ONLY ONE DOLLAR AND A WHOLE LOT OF PROBLEMS. STAY AWAY FROM KLEIN'S DELIVERY

Great selection!. Needed some gourmet food in a pinch for some dinner guests. I found everything I needed and more at Ernest Klein. Very helpful staff as well.

Only if you are desparate.
I live around the corner from this overpriced grocery. The produce is often wilted and the fruit soft.
I wouldn't trust the seafood, but the meat dept. is good for its selection and quality
If you don't mind paying $5 for a box of cereal, this is your pace.
