So disappointing. My husband and I went to celebrate our eight year anniversary. The waitstaff is completely uninterested in the patrons. One guy tried to be conversational in all the wrong ways, and the other didn't let me finish my question before answering. The appetizers were excellent (I can honestly say I had the best foie gras there outside of Paris), but the entrees were so subpar, I couldn't even finish mine. There's a fine line between decor that makes you feel like you've travelled back in time and decor that's old; this place needs an OVERHAUL, especially at the price point it's at. I'd go back for that foie gras, but nothing else.
No value for money at all!.
We went for the 38$ menu, appetizer + entrée. A very thin slice of salmon for my partner and US caviar on a blini for me. That was allright but quantities are really tiny.
Wewent after for the risotoo and the brazzini. Whilst the brazzini was OK, the risotto was uncooked, not cremoso at all and tasteless.
Service was terrible in the sense that evrything went too quickly. No time to enjoy the dinner ans discuss.
Now explain me how two 38$ menu with a bottle of cheap californian wine and sparkling water turn into a 190$ bill... I don't mind paying that money but for that price I want to be wowed a little bit...
Avoid unless you suffer from the too thick wallet syndrome...
