Great food great place !!!!. We have at least 200 restaurants around 45th st and 60st, and I try diffrent restaurants everyday! On saturday before I was going to work I walked in to Arriba Arriba and I relly liked the place... The busboy started with chips and salsa and a big smile to me... The wait staff very good looking and also friendly!! The manager served me a peach margarita that was ok and I orderd one Fajita Steak that was simply delicious!!! Very very good!!! I totally recomend this place!

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I've been going here for several years now. With coworkers, friends, and family. it's AMAMZING.. cheap food and GREAT SANGRIA .. get the large pitcher. If you want to go somewhere with cheap good food this is the place. But they don't take reservations and you might have to wait.. more reasons to drink sangria!

Great food, Terrible service. Host /Manager went mising for 20 minutes when we were trying to be seated and didn't offer an apology when he arrived, only attitude. They should really hire a seperate host/hostess. Waited 15 minutes for a pitcher of sangria once seated. But the food was awesome, especially the shrimp burritos.

Bad Table Manners. The food for the most part is spot on for great taste. The ambiance is nice though tight and small. However, the Manager who also doubles as the Host is less than gracious and often times very rude to the patrons. I witnessed The Manager harrassing a group of three throughout their dinner about wanting the table that he himself sat them at so he could seat a larger party by one more person. If this restaurant expects the locals to continue to come as myself and overheard this group of three saying they have for many YEARS, then the owners of Arriba Arriba need to give their Host some lessons in etiquette, tact and decorum. Let's face it, great restaurants in the NYC area of Hell's Kitchen are a dime dozen and great food alone isn't going to cut it. People pay for great food and deserve at the very least hospitable service which is not present when this Manager is on the floor chasing patrons off tables and out the door. If the bottom line is only to make money by turning tables over as quckily as possible, you'd do better going to McDonald's where there you can at least take your time to enjoy your meal.

Okay food, terrible customer service. There are far too many other Mexican restaurants in the neighborhood to waste your time hoping that someone, anyone will ask you how your meal is or whether you'd like something more to drink. If my waiter or the bus boy had come back to ask if the food was okay, if they had checked to see if I wanted something more than the complimentary tap water, if they had brought me my check when I asked for it, I'd probably have rated Arriba Arriba a 5. Blockheads isn't fine dining, but at least they acknowledge I'm there. And Mi Nidito is more than happy to refill margaritas.

Great lunch.... I went yesterday with my coworkers after deciding which mexican restaurant to try. The waiter and host were very friendly. The place was packed for lunch. The lunch menu is not as extensive but they have very good choices for $8 you'll get a complimentary drink (alcoholic as well, the sangria was good) , chips and your main course. I had the enchilada and I'll have to say the seasoning was perfect as well as the green sauce. The portions are not that great but it'll fill you up and give you a bit of room to share their yummy fried ice cream. The decor is not much, the bar is the first thing you see, a bit small of a restaurant but thats not a bad thing. Will go again.

Best on Sundays at Noon. This is the best place to sober up after a Sat night out! Service is always friendly and great. Familiar faces welcome me. Food is ALWAYS delicious- especially the chicken nachos and salsa.

Hasta La Vista Arriba Arriba!!. I've gone to AA since it opened, just two blocks from my old apartment on W. 49th Street (I've since moved way uptown!). The food has always been excellent but the noise level is so horrendous I've sworn off going there any more. Last time I was there (July, 2006), we asked if the music could be turned down because despite the small (make that EXTREMELY small) table space between my dinner date and myself, we were shouting our conversation and still couldn't be heard. We were told the manager did not want the music turned down. Besides leaving hoarse, we were temporarily hearing impaired -- not a way to spend an evening, at all! We figured out the reason for the deafening level was so that patrons would hurry up and eat and not linger so that new customers could be seated. I'll go to Taco Bell before I go back to AA!

BEST MARGARITAS EVER. Arriba Arriba is by far the most fun mexican restaurant in NYC. The ambiance is fantastic - super loud with dance music usually, so not the best date place. Go with a group of friends! The service is great, the food is great...and the margaritas. WOW. The best part. Order a Mama margarita. They are delciously refreshing, and absurdly strong. Order a 2nd and you may not be able to stand up straight by the end of your meal - my kind of drink!
